You mind telling me why you decided on UCLA? Shannon asked.
I just wasnt ready to leave Mom yet, or least I wasnt ready to but a thousand miles or more between us. They have a great softball program and Art program. So I can do both. I have met the team and I get along with all of them great. I like the coaches, and even thought they are tough I think they will make me a better player. The team all stays in a house off campus. So they can have some control over us. I didnt do it because they didnt want me to go off somewhere. I am staying because it is what is right for me. Jess said.
Just so you make your own decisions and you make the ones that are right for you. Shannon said.
I am, and I would like you to be there when I sign the letter of intent. Jess said.
I wouldnt miss it. Now come help me unpack, and maybe I wont tell Mom and Mama about Justin. Shannon said pulling Jess by the hand.
You wouldnt. Jess said allowing herself to be pulled out of the room.
You right I wouldnt especially after you kept my sneaking in and out of your window a secret. Shannon said.
The Next Week
Jess and Laurie walked down the hall way in their Garnet and Black plaid skirts and white polo shirts, black vests with the school emblem and Garnet blazers. Jesss was unbuttoned and Lauries buttoned.
So are we really going to do this? Laurie asked.
Yeah I guess so. Why? Jess asked.
Because I mean Its just a big decision. Laurie said.
I know I made mine and you made yours as much as I would like for us to play together if you dont want to I would understand. Jess said.
No I meant what I said earlier, and my dad would kill me if I didnt go through with it. Laurie said arriving outside the office.

I think 5 kids is enough….or maybe not LOL!
So Jess is going to UCLA with Laurie. I’m guessing that pretty soon if you continue that you will change the story’s title as Jess’ life won’t really be with her parents anymore. And, I’m most likely way off here, but I have this feeeeeeeling (lol sorry) that Jess will dump Justin and something will cook between Laurie and Jess, even if it’s not permanent. :O

As I was reading, I thought another adoption and then I remembered Angelica. I just hope that Jess does not break too many rules. Bette and Tina had a way of controlling Jess, but off at college sometimes kids make major mistakes. Just hope that Jess does not repeat Bette’s mistake although if it was not for that mistake Jess would not be here. Maybe once school starts that Bette and Tina will get more time to themselves to explore each other. Great chapter to an already great story.
