"I am going to go put her down." Tina said carrying Angelica out of the room.
"I gonna go make a phone call." Shannon said. Jess gave her a look to die for.
"What’s going on with you?" Bette asked.
Jess didn’t answer. It was hard for her to be honest with Bette because she loved her so much. Jess walked back into the closet and put the tape up. She returned in a minute.
"The same thing that has always bothered me I guess." Jess said standing in the closet doorway.
"You are going to have to be more specific than that." Bette said.
"I don’t want to go into it today when you just got home." Jess said.
"Today is as good a day as any. I know it has to do with me and you and nobody else I read your diaries remember." Bette said.
"I guess I am just adjusting yet again and I am still in the process that’s all." Jess said telling the partial truth.
"Yet again. Jess come sit with me. Please." Bette said patting the bed next to her. Jess sat down next to her. "While I was gone all I could think about was getting home to you. You were what got me through. I thought about our past together and all the things I did wrong as a parent. I realized that every time something came up in my life or in Tina’s or the boys, or Shannon’s and Angelica’s for that matter that you always were left adjusting, as you call it, alone. You were right, the last thing on that tape wasn’t funny. I should have realized that the real you was being lost in the background and what we saw was just a shell that you formed around yourself to keep yourself protected. You have spent to long hiding behind yourself and your thoughts. I guess I pushed that on you by forcing you to always think about things before you said them and then limiting your noise level after the boys were born. You learned from me how to hide the best parts of yourself from others. You quietly sank into the abyss and craziness that surrounds our family. I don’t want that for you anymore. I know you are getting ready to move out and go to college where I know you will shine. Hell you stood out in every thing else you were involved in except in this house. That changed some where along the way, because you used to be the brightest star and everyone that came near you loved you." Bette said.

Angelica sounds like a pistol. LOL Man I wonder how big B&T’s bed is. Maybe we all can join them for a slumber party as well. lol
This chapter was as wonderful as all the others. Hopefully, Tina will get to have her very private time with her wife. They need to re-connect also in only the way they can with each other. Hope we get to see at least some of it because it will be very emotional as well as hot, wanton and any other sexually hot verb we can come up with. It will be great, can hardly wait.
Thanks for bringing Bette back to the family. Contrary to popular belief on the l word, we all want happy endings for our main characters. I will miss your daily posts so much, but I realise all of you autors have a life. I will look forwards to Thursdays for my favorite story. Thanks

Jesse and Bette both came home, Jesse thought she would never see her Mother again that was a hard blow,Bette was the same she had a lot to lose.It woke both of the up that Bette and Tina had a forgotten person in their house. Thanks God both came home to be a familyagain thanks

Authors have lives, too??? LOL…take the time that you need and post as often as you can. We’ll be patiently waiting. One request…Bette and Tina need their own homecoming. There has to be a lot of emotion between the two of them being part as long as they have. They need the talk and the reconnection, just the two of them. Enjoy camp!

Tina now knows how Jess has felt ever since she stepped into Bette’s life. Jess has this special bond with Bette and when all the others started coming into their family Jess felt left out. I hope that Bette and Jess can continue to reconnect to each other. I can’t wait for the Bette and Tina time alone. Have fun at camp.

Great update. Somehow your last couple of chapters had me happy yet , teary eyed at the same time. Good job. I agree with dalloway3, I think it would be nice to see Tina’s reaction at the graduation.

It’s GREAT to see the whole family back together. I agree with most that B&T need some private time to reconnect, but this family also needed and still needs time to reconnect. Itis time for Shannon to move back to be near her family and her and Jess to bond again. This family IS the sum of all of it’s parts :o). We often see Jess’s gf, but rarely see Shannon’s.
