    The Morning After.

    Previously:

    Jess shut the computer off and went downstairs. Everyone was already in bed. Tina was trying to get Angelica to lay down. Jess crawled in the bed next to Tina because the boys were on both sides of her in the middle of the bed. Angelica crawled over Tina to Jess and laid down. Tina smiled rolling over putting her arm around Jess. Jess smiled because it was the first time she had felt completely safe in years.

     

     

     

     

    Jess sat at the table eating breakfast. Bette walked into the room. Angelica walked behind her carrying a toy. The boys were outside playing.

    "You are up late. What happened to you last night?" She asked.

    "Everybody was snoring so I went upstairs. Oh and its my summer vacation." Jess said with a little playful attitude.

    "I see. What are your plans today?" Bette asked. Jess shrugged her shoulders.

    "I don’t know. Laurie and I will probably hang by the pool or at the beach." Jess said in between bites.

    "Why don’t we go shopping? Laurie can come if she wants. The boys are going to day camp in an hour so it will just be us girls. We can start getting your stuff for your room at school." Bette said.

    "I already have everything that I need for our room, but I would love to go shopping. What other kind of shopping did you have in mind?" Jess said.

    "We can do whatever kind you girls want to do?" Bette said.

    "Can you and I go the new show at MOCA and then to the opening at the Michael Cohen Gallery?" Jess asked.

    "I don’t know if I am ready for all that just yet." Bette said sitting down across from Jess at the table.

    "Okay then we can just go to the mall I guess." Jess said eating the last of her breakfast. She got up from the table and took her dishes into the kitchen. She knew that Bette wanted some quality family time but Jess really didn’t want to push her into doing some thing that she didn’t want to do or wasn’t ready to do.

    "You know what Jess that sounds like a really good idea. Let me call Al and see if she can keep Angelica and you and I will go." Bette said.

    15. So happy to see this chapter, know that whenever you get a chance to post we will be waiting. We love this story. Hopefully Tina dn Jess can get back to where they were before the crash. Everyone missed Bette terribly especially Tina and Jess. Now that Bette is home, maybe Tina and Bette can get that time alone to be with just each other. I see some major NC-17 chapter coming, hopefully the next one. Thanks so much for this story.
