(Jay took his stuff and headed straight to his room closing his door behind him. Jay’s mood was worrying Tina and Bette a lot)
Tina: (turning to Chloe) Sweetheart take your things up to your room and unpack please”
Chloe: “Ok… (Stopping)Mum do you think Jay is ok”
Tina: “Yeah course he is” (knowing this wasn’t true)
(Chloe headed upstairs)
Bette: “Something’s wrong with him T… I know there is”(looking straight into Tina’s eyes)
Tina: “I know but I don’t want Chloe worrying”
Chapter 8
(It had been almost a week since they arrived home and there was still no change in Jay. He only came out his room to go to the toilet. This was worrying Tina and Bette but they were trying to act normal around Chloe)
In the Living Area
(Bette and Tina are sitting on the sofa talking to Carmen)
Carmen: “So you don’t know what’s up with him”
Tina: “No he won’t talk to us”
Bette: “It’s definitely got something to do with Spain”(looking at Tina)
Tina: “I agree”
Carmen: “What’s Chloe saying about it?”
Tina: ” We just told her he needs some alone time”
Bette: “We don’t want to worry her”
Carmen: “Where is she the now?”
Tina: “At Laura’s, she should be home soon” (looking at her watch)
Carmen: “Cool how about I take her to me and you can try and talk to Jay?”
Bette: “Yeah that would help, thank you.”
(Chloe comes in with her guitar)
Chloe: “Hey” (putting her guitar down and sitting in between Tina and Bette)
Bette: “Hey sweetie how are you doing? Are you Hungry?”
Chloe: “No I’m fine”(smiling at Bette)
Tina: “Sweetheart Carmen was wondering if you wanna go spend the night with her and Shane”
Chloe: “Yeah groovy…How’s Jay?”
Bette: “He’s asleep he was pretty tired”
Chloe: ” So Carmen when are we going”
Carmen: “Now if that’s ok with you?” (Smiling at Chloe)
Chloe: “Yeah that’s cool, give me two sec till I put my guitar in my room”(getting up)
Carmen: “Ok”
(Chloe comes back down and she and Carmen head for the door)
Chloe: “Bye… Love you” (giving Bette and Tina a hug)
Tina: “Love you too”
(Carmen turns round and mouths good luck to Bette and Tina)

It would be hard for me to stay off of a plane to Spain. They should have told Chloe when it happen Now they have two upset teenagers. That is bad. thanks

Great Story, but difficult to read at times. Sometimes death seems to be the only way out. Sometimes it is too dark inside and too hard to reach out for help. I hope that Jay is able to pull himself together and realizes that his love ones will always be there for him.
Great chapter, while I agree with the treatment. Since he DID open up and tell his parents what happened, I feel that he needs to be in contact with them in order for him to get thru this. It was a VERY BAD deciision for B&T to let their 2 teenage children to venture out into Spain (a foriegn country) by themselves. It doesn’t need to be coupled by a BAD decision here. They seem to have a close knit family and it will take some time for Jay to forgive them for this seperation, not to mention Chole. I know some=times as a parent you have to show tuff love, but not in this case.
I really have a problem with B&T leaving Spanish soil without addressing what was wrong with Jay especially on the helds of what happen with Chole and how they found out about. Jay needs help but he also needs the love and suppotr of his family. He should not be locked away from his family for a week with NO contact with them because he has already open up to them. Please continue.
Well, I see one of my guess’ sadly was correct. Hopefully as a family they will talk and get through this time in their lives. I also feel Tina and Bette needs to go back to Spain, for some justice.
Another comment-since he told them what happened to him, I see some commentors don’t feel that it was still necessary to leave him at the hospital with the therapist, but remember he tried to kill hinself he still needs help.

My first thought was correct then. :( Jay definitely needs help since this almost ate him up inside. I’m not sure I agree with B&T not telling Chloe until the next day though.
Sad ,poor Jay .It should be easy for the kids to talk totheir moms,they’ve got the coolest and kindestmoms in the world.Hope jay will be alright and Bette and Tina will get that bastard,do that to a kid who trust you what a world.post soon please i can’t wait to read the next
OMG this is serious stuff….but why all this BIG TIME drama, can’t we just have light drama…..Poor Jay, he is such a sweet boy – Bette is gonna kill that shop owner right?? More please….
