“To be honest, I am. I love this gallery. I love what I have done. I think I will be able to make it a huge success and be able to make a comfortable life for myself and our daughter. That is what this is all about.”
“I am very proud of you, Bette.”
“Oh, Tina, be still your earring is in your hair.”
“Thanks” Tina said as she held out her hand for the earring. The women smiled a genuine smile both of them having fond memories of galleries and earring before.
“Now if I find this earring on the floor this time, I will know it was a set-up both times.” Bette said with a smile.
“Would that be so horrible to have me retrieve my lost earring tomorrow, Bette?”
“No, but you don’t need an earring as an excuse Tina. Not this time.”
“I know. Have I told you how gorgeous you are this evening?” Tina whispered in Bette’s ear. “Any woman would be privileged to be accompanying you on this night.” Tina continued.
“Tina, don’t say anything you will regret tomorrow.” Bette said as she took the drink from her hand. “I think you have had enough. Let’s go find Henry.”
“Show me your office. You promised me a private tour.” Tina said.
“Tina, I think you should go find Henry and go home. I would hate to have you regret anything.”
“Bette, show me your office. Please. I know how important your office is to you. I would be honored to see it.” Tina said.
“Okay, wait here. I will be right back.” Bette walked off quickly to locate Shane. “Hi, Shane, Carmen, listen keep an eye on Henry, don’t let him start looking for Tina. I am going to give her a tour of the offices, but I would rather Henry not accompany us.”
“Sure, Bette. We got it covered.” Carmen answered.

I kept thinking about the earring too. I bet the memorial was lovely. I have a feeling that Tina will walk out and get cold feet as soon as she sees Henry and Bette will be left alone.
I have no idea what I have planned. I like to read your comments…ponder it…and sit down and begin writing. I try to see which avenue the readers want.

This new Bette is awesome and Tina won’t get another chance. Tina knows she loves and wants her. The girls have told her to get her act together, now Bette is putting her foot down, no room for misunderstanding.Tina, grow up and take care of your family. It would be appalling if Tina actually believed she could screw Bette on the conference room table and go home with Henry. Friends don’t do that to each other, especially when you know the other is as emotionally invested as Bette is. If Tina can’t leave Henry and come to Bette I’d question Tina’s friendship. Put the girls back together.
To azmama– Get out of the tree Henry and set your self free (ha, ha). I think it is more health and a better sign for Tina to leave Henry with a clear counsious rather being (as in other stories) prevoked by him beating her or putting Tina out. This way Bette knows and is reassureed that Tina came back to her and their family out of her own free will and desire to rebuild their family together.
Great …Tina really needs to go find Henry…Smile sweetly maybe even a peck on the cheek…AND DUMP HIM…sorry dont mean to be cruel…but..thats just the way it is….This was how it should be!
