They continued on with their talk when Shane and Carmen walked over to them still holding hands.

Jenny was the first to say " OMG, Congradulations ! " She yelled and she hugged Shane and Carmen both.

She let go then Alice said " Yeah, you big, dumb, fuck, congrats ! " as she punched Shane’s arm

" Fuck Al, why the hell do you always have to hit something !? " Shane said rubbing her arm

" Welcome to my life Shane " Dana butted in, and then Alice punched her too. Dana started rubbing her arm also and everyone laughed.

" Okay, so guys, it’s a Friday, it’s after school, what are we going to do ? " Papi asked

" Hmm … well … do you guys all want to come sleep over and then we can all wake up in the morning and go to our away game in New Port ? "

" That sounds perfect, we’re in " Dana said for herself and Alice

" Me too … " Carmen smiled warmly and rubbed Shane’s upper arm

" Great, oh Shane can I invite Marina too ? " Jenny asked

" Of course Jenny, you know you don’t even have to ask. "

" Okay, thanks "

They were silent for a moment when Alice’s big mouth interrupted the silence

" Alright, let’s get the fuck out of here ! " 

They all agreed and drove to Shane’s house. 

The Crib ( 6:30 PM ) 

Everyone was enjoying themselves in Shane’s pool. Alice, Dana, Carmen, Jenny, Marina, and 2 of Papi’s ’ playmates ‘ were just swimming around and talking. Meanwhile Shane and Papi were playing a game if 1 on 1 on Shane’s basketball court.

" I can’t wait to play New Port tomorrow ! " Shane said while she was trying to find a way to dribble around Papi

" I know man, we’re going to kick some ass ! " Papi replied while defending the driving lane.

Just then Shane did a fancy dribble, a pump fake, a pivot, and a fade away shot.

" I win " Shane said chuckling

" Pftt … rematch ! " Papi demanded

" Alright, alright, but later man let’s go check out what the others are up to " Shane suggested
