" Yeah, alright "

Shane and Papi walked over to the pool area and they both grabbed a gatorade from the mini-fridge, and then sat down on the lawn chairs while they talked to everyone about random stuff.

Carmen got out and walked over to where Shane was on the lawn chair.

" Come in, pleasee " Carmen begged her and pulled her up from the chair

" I don’t know … " Shane said unsure, and while she was thinking Carmen smirked and grabbed onto Shane and pushed her in. Shane couldn’t keep her balance and landed in the pool. Everyone laughed

" Your dead ! " Shane exclaimed jokingly as she got out of the pool and went to chase Carmen. Carmen started to run but it wasn’t hard for Shane to catch up. She then wrapped her arms around Carmen’s waist, and stopped her.

" I caught you, whatcha gonna do now ?! " Shane teased

" Hmmm … not much I can do right ?? " Carmen played along

" Damn straight ! " Shane then started tickling her sides from behind, then Shane picked her up and threw Carmen back into the pool.

Everyone just laughed in amusement, they loved a good show.

After 2 hours it started to get dark so they all headed inside to watch a movie. And since Jenny and Carmen got to pick the movie last time Shane got to pick this time; she picked Little Miss Sunshine.

And of course Dana sat with Alice, Jenny sat with Marina, Papi and her girls were all huddled together on the floor, and Carmen sat with Shane.

Shane put in the movie and resumed her postition on the couch, then Carmen came up and sat on her lap. Shane wrapped her arms protectively around her, and Carmen relaxed comfortably in her arms.

" hmm .. maybe this movie won’t be so bad after all " Shane thought

Half way through the movie everyone was laughing histarically.

" Great pick, Shane, just great " Alice complimented

" Why thank you Alice " Shane said proudly

They continued watching the movie and laughing. After it ended everyone was tired, so Papi sent her ‘ playmates ‘ home and went to her room, Dana and Alice insisted that they sleep on the couch, and Jenny and Marina both went to Jenny’s room. Leaving Shane and Carmen

" Heyy, Shane … is it okay if I sleep with you tonight ? " Carmen asked

" Of course " Shane assured her

" Thank You " Carmen replied gratefully

So everyone said goodnight and went to their rooms. Shane and Carmen had finished changing into their Pajamas and got under the covers. Carmen took off the GMT- Master II watch Shane gave to her and asked.

" Shane, you know, you really didn’t have to give me this "

" I know but I wanted too … "

" Well thank you, but if you ever want it back just ask me "

" Don’t worry about it, I want you to have it. "

" Thank you " Carmen said one last time before she put the watch gently on the end table next to Shane’s bed.

Shane was lying on her back and Carmen turned on her side and softly kissed Shane’s lips. It wasn’t too long, but just enough to show she cares.

" Good night babe " Carmen said with a smile

" Babe ? " Shane asked

" Sorry, don’t you like being called that ? "

" No, I do really, I’m just not all that used to being called that but honestly I like it "

" Oh okay "

" Yeah, well, good night babe " Shane replied

Then Shane turned off the light and she felt Carmen wrap her arms around her waist and place her head in the nook of Shane’s shoulder. Shane felt it and reacted by putting an arm around Carmen’s shoulder. And they both fell soundly asleep.

" I’ve never been happier … "
