    Bette talks to Melvin and who the f**k called for a carpenter? Will Bette the Great rise to the occasion or not?

     

    Me, too, baby.  How did it go with my father today?  Was it the longest lunch of your life?

     

    It actually went well.  Its kinda freaky but welcome, you know?  He was actually holding Angelica and singing a lullaby to her..

     

    What!  Oh my god, an alien has taken over my fathers body

     

    Tina laughed.  Hes trying, baby.  Its more than we ever thought would happen.

     

    I know, T.  Its just when you spend youre life banging your head against a wall, you get used to the feeling of pain.   Then the wall crumbles one day and youre bewildered because its not the same feeling anymore.

     

    Well, for the past several months and definitely within the past couple of weeks youve been dealing with a lot of new feelings, babe.  Just add this one to the list.  Youll be fine, babe, you will.   Just talk to me if theres something bothering you, okay?

     

    I will, T, I promise.  Listen, my father just called and asked if I would have dinner with him at the hotel.  I told him I needed to ask you first – by the way, he asked if it would be all right with you – I could go there right from work and then head home to you.  Would that be all right or would you rather I bring him to the house again?

     

    You know I always want you home with me, but you go ahead and have dinner with your father.  Give me a call when youre on your way home, okay?

     

    Okay, T.  Ill try to leave here before six so it wont be so late when I get home.  I love you, baby.  Kiss Angelica for me.  Ill call when Im leaving the hotel.

     

    I could write a book just about these past two weeks, Bette thought.  And back to the paperwork

     

    Not ten minutes went by and James buzzed her.

     

    James, I really cant

     

    Her office door slid open

     

    Candace Jewel came bounding in.  James was right on her tail but not quite fast enough to stop her from entering the office.

     

    Cant what, Bette?  Cant see someone who cares about you?  I came to see how you are.

    9. Oh boy, two posts in one day, thank you, thank you and loved them both. Now if someone could just have Helena and Candace disappear from their lives and find someone of their own. Now that would really make my day. I suppose that Bette is such a good lover everyone either wants her or wants her out of the way. You just can’t please everyone, especially Hellsno and Candy. At any rate two great stories in one day, wonderful and thanks very much.

    15. Great chapters. I don’t know what is up with the candy kane, but she needs to try and get her licks some where else. I wouldn’t put it pass Helena to try and use her against Bette and Tina and wind up getting her hands a little sticky. Candace needs to be careful because not only will Tina kick her butt when she gets better, but Kit will be more than happy to knock her in the middle of next week. All of thier adviseries need to be aware that with Melvin in town and bonding with his family, there is another factor that they will have to deal with when it comes to f**king with the Kennard-Porter clan. Hey how about working Kit some good straight lovin into, your story. Thanks and holla back soon.
