    “We’ll see, Bette, about cutting losses and moving on.  We’ll see.”  With an evil smirk on her face, Helena turned and went to her office.

    The rest of the week went well for Bette mainly because the Bitchbody kept her distance.  That in itself was great, but more than once Bette’s mind wandered to the place of ‘How Come’ she’s staying away – how come she’s not dangling bait – it really wasn’t like her to stay completely away from Bette, even if was a sneer or snicker when passing each other.  Besides, she never stopped before.

     

    .and how freakin’ great did it feel to have Candace Jewel out of the picture.  One more ***** to go, Helenaor is it two, Susan?

    Sunday morning

     

    Bette was on the patio enjoying coffee and the paper.  Tina left about an hour and a half ago to bring Angelica to The Planet for a visit with Kit and have some chat time with her sister-in-law.  Tina had never lessened her attachment to Kit, even during the breakup.  Now, they seemed even tighter.

     

    * * *

     

    Well, today’s the day.  I’ve been watching closely.  Taking in everything.   Time for payback.  Time for her to know you can’t just keep ***** with people’s lives .  Who knows what will happen, where I’ll be at the end of the day.  Maybe I’ll just come back here – yes, I think that will be appropriate, don’t you think – under the shade of this tree, on this cold, hard bench.

    She made the call and didn’t wait for the ‘hello.’

     

    “Okay, it’s going to happen today.  Make sure you’re there because this isn’t happening twice.”

     

    “Don’t worry, I’ll be there with bells on.  Just call her and get her there.”

    What a great day, Bette thought.  Next weekend is going to be better since Kit and Shane said they would stay overnight so she and Tina could have a special night away.  

     

    Bette grinned at the thought.  She just loved those ‘special’ nights out with her T.

      An absolute shocker.

      All this drama is leaping off the screen and making a little movie in my head. As for the cliff hanger, thank you for torturing me a little longer. These events have kept me right on the edge of my seat. The deception is only now starting to make some sense however I am fascinated as to where you will lead next.

      This mystery is captivating and mesmerizing. I am completely enthralled by your wonderful writing. The pace has just ramped up several notches and like the runaway train is only just managing to stay on the rails

      Please continue real soon as I’m not sure my heart can take the waiting to long.

    6. RC…damn what the hell is happening? I’m with Barrie…Is Susan a schizo? Is the other woman really Susan’s own reflection? Why did Tina say she was going to visit with Kit and just leave the baby instead? All questions and many more. Damn so much DRAMA..love it! Thanks for the chapter RC.

    14. Who is the woman outside The Planet? Is Susan a schizo? If Tina went to spend time with Kit, why wasn’t she there when Bette called? Why did she leave the baby with Kit? Good Lord, all ‘Hell’ has broken lose and all I have are questions! I hope your next chapter clears it all up and I also hope that the woman in the window is an ally to BnT…or Peggy!
