    Wheres Bette? Dana asked

     

    She went to put the infant carrier in the car and pick me up some clothes to wear when we leave the hospital tomorrow.   I think shes tired though.  Its just coming up to a week from the attack and everything else that happened in the days before.  I just hung up from talking with her when you walked in.

     

    How did she sound? Jenny asked.

     

    Tina smiled the smile of the Cheshire cat.  You know, she sounded really good.really, REALLY good. 

     


     

     

     

    Bette just sat at the kitchen table for awhile recovering from the ***** Tina so nicely delivered to her via the telephone.  She smiled and shook her head.  God, I love that woman, she thought.   Waiting six weeks to repay this bit of kindness is going to be really difficult – Remember, Porter, Tina just brought into this world your daughter, so buck up kiddo, and reign in the libido.

     

    She grabbed Tinas keys and headed over to her apartment.   When she arrived she went right to the bedroom to get Tinas clothes. 

     

    As she walked across the room to the dresser she noticed two objects on the floor – the two scarves she used to gag and tie Helena up with.    Her mind reacted just like our sense of smell does when it catches a whiff of a familiar, special scent – youre taken right back to the moment you first smelled it.   This was no special whiff with any pleasant memory, unless one counts the burning, rotting smell of garbage a pleasant memory.  The ***** from ***** had been here.

     

    Didnt matter they were Giorgio Maraldi scarves – Theyre getting tossed.  Ill get Tina new ones.  She picked them up, went into the kitchen, got a plastic supermarket bag and put the scarves in there, tied it up tight and threw it into the trash.  And then she washed her hands – well, her one hand and fingertips of the other.  This is all probably very childish, she thought, but too bad, it makes me feel better.  She headed back to the bedroom.

Was it Faye with Bette in college? Hehe! Nah, that would be insane!…Or would it? Hmmm… You got me wonderin’, ace. I can’t wait to see where you’re headed with all these juicy little details, lol!     6. Great chapter, I am SOOOOOOOOO proud of Bette for resisting the temptation to look at the picture (having the flashback of Tina’s laspe in judgement i.e. Candace ‘s picture helped). The question now becomes, how will Tina recover the picture. Maybe she could send Shane or Dana to retrieve it, but certainly not that nosey behind Alice. Don’t get me wrong, Alice is a good friend, but her nose and mouth gets the best of her quite often. Maybe she will suggest to Bette that they stop by on their way home and Bette would decreetly allow her toretrieve it herself. I just don’t think that she would necessarily want her friends to see the picture if she didn’t want Bette to see it. I know, maybe Kit could get it for her. I am assuming that the flashback will make sense in future chapters. Holla back, PLEASE.

    8. to cpq and everyone: Tina is torn between not wanting to deliberately hurt Bette and being honest and open with Bette. But our girls have come a long way and I trust they will make the right decisions from now on. The flashback…ummm…I am a dirty dawg, aren’t I? Remember, the truth and our past always come back, no matter how much we try to bury it.

    9. so i guess if your gay and rich and hate bette porter, then the fuckfacehelly is ok in fuckfacefaye’s book… or doesn’t fuckfacefaye know fuckfacehelly is also gay… hmmmm this is getting so good.. and the picture… no i don’t think its the bitch… i think its bette and tina from early happy days together… tina probably hid it from fuckfacehelly

    11. I’m so glad Bette didn’t look at the picture. Who’s in the picture? — Did I miss something? The flashback..hmmm, the past does come back, but who was there with Bette? The story is getting very very intriguing, can’t wait until the next chapter.

    12. Damm did I get everyone going on my crazy idea of faye and bette during college, will have to go back and check out the comments. OK so it’s ok to have lunch with a lesbian cause your trying to kill bette?? Faye dosen’t have a clue does she??? So the flashback just realized I was 1 whne it happen LOL. HUMM will have to think more and get back to you. Love the way this story is going.
