Love Revisted – Coming Home Part 31
She sat in her living room looking from one face to another of the members of her organization that had come over to spend some time with her and show their support. This is my family, she thought. I need help and they were there. Damn the people who arent here – the husband who through the years grew day to day more alarmed at her involvement with CCC. He was a moderate conservative politically but drew the line at the angry protests and mob-like demonstrations that Faye was becoming involved with. They amicably separated. Although the marriage was never the kind of fairy tale stature, the subject of divorce was not broached. They had met in college. He pursued Faye for quite sometime but she always rebuffed him – and then it seemed she did a 180 and in no time they were married and starting a family.
The first couple of years passed in typical newlywed style, but it wasnt long before the blush faded from the rose. Faye found her outlet for her frustrations and emotional needs to be fulfilled in the CCC. They spoke to her and when she spoke they listened. And her daughter? Who knows where she is. Faye loved her but she was always fiercely independent. Faye just couldnt get her to see how her actions were leading her on the path to ***** – which brought her thoughts to one Bette Porter. How dare she humiliate her on TV with that disgusting porno tape of her daughter. Well, I shut her up right quick with the reason why her Lezzie girlfriend miscarried. And then the nerve of her calling me a monster! Did she think I got to be the head of this organization by not doing my homework on the people I will be debating?
One thing I will say for Bette Porter. She got to me. Her face and her name were with me every day since that debate and it made me angrier and angrier. I tried not to, but it did overtake me. Probably shouldnt have followed them in the car that time, but I had to at least give her a warning. I am civilized, you know. Wasnt my problem she didnt heed it. Having lunch with that Helena Peabody made it even more difficult to erase her from my mind. That woman hated Bette Porter nearly as much as I did. She never actually said it but the look in her eyes became colder whenever Bette Porters name was mentioned. If the thought of Bette Porter had shifted to the back of my mind at all, it was immediately pushed forward again after the lunch with Ms. Peabody. Now, theres a person that could contribute a great deal to the CCC. After Im through with this travesty of law called the justice system, Im going to have another talk with Helena Peabody. This time the lunch will be on me.

“You’re on the right track – or are you?” Evil, evil ace is toying with us! :-)
This story is getting better all the time! Who was in that picture? And what’s the deal with Faye B. and Helena??! ~shudders~ Scary! What was that flashback all about? Was it Faye with Bette in college? Hehe! Nah, that would be insane!…Or would it? Hmmm… You got me wonderin’, ace. I can’t wait to see where you’re headed with all these juicy little details, lol! Thanks!
What the hell is that picture of?!?!?!?! Post soon!
Great chapter, I am SOOOOOOOOO proud of Bette for resisting the temptation to look at the picture (having the flashback of Tina’s laspe in judgement i.e. Candace ‘s picture helped). The question now becomes, how will Tina recover the picture. Maybe she could send Shane or Dana to retrieve it, but certainly not that nosey behind Alice. Don’t get me wrong, Alice is a good friend, but her nose and mouth gets the best of her quite often. Maybe she will suggest to Bette that they stop by on their way home and Bette would decreetly allow her toretrieve it herself. I just don’t think that she would necessarily want her friends to see the picture if she didn’t want Bette to see it. I know, maybe Kit could get it for her. I am assuming that the flashback will make sense in future chapters. Holla back, PLEASE.
wat pic?? and DAMN!! no court scene! sorry but buckley or bucka** like i luv to call her, needs jail time…….n i’m NOT talkin martha steward time either! keep on keepin on n i’mma definatly keep readin.

to cpq and everyone: Tina is torn between not wanting to deliberately hurt Bette and being honest and open with Bette. But our girls have come a long way and I trust they will make the right decisions from now on. The flashback…ummm…I am a dirty dawg, aren’t I? Remember, the truth and our past always come back, no matter how much we try to bury it.
so i guess if your gay and rich and hate bette porter, then the fuckfacehelly is ok in fuckfacefaye’s book… or doesn’t fuckfacefaye know fuckfacehelly is also gay… hmmmm this is getting so good.. and the picture… no i don’t think its the bitch… i think its bette and tina from early happy days together… tina probably hid it from fuckfacehelly
K
Great chapter. You have me very curious. Can’t wait for more.
I’m so glad Bette didn’t look at the picture. Who’s in the picture? — Did I miss something? The flashback..hmmm, the past does come back, but who was there with Bette? The story is getting very very intriguing, can’t wait until the next chapter.
Damm did I get everyone going on my crazy idea of faye and bette during college, will have to go back and check out the comments. OK so it’s ok to have lunch with a lesbian cause your trying to kill bette?? Faye dosen’t have a clue does she??? So the flashback just realized I was 1 whne it happen LOL. HUMM will have to think more and get back to you. Love the way this story is going.
