“I feel bad for Tina walking in on them in her very own bedroom, the same one she and Bette shared as a couple.  That must sting really badly.”

Alice shook her head at the distorted story.

“Okay! Miss Inside Story. How did Tina find out?” Dana asked sarcastically while looking at Alice.

“Well, actually, Tonya, um, she guessed, because she saw them touching hands, and then… she knew everything.”

“How could she tell just by seeing them touch hands?”

“Women can do that,” said Shane to Dana.

“Yeah, especially dykes,” said Alice to Dana who frowned at her.

“Well, I don’t know what Bette was thinking. I mean, you don’t step out on a woman like Tina for somebody who hammers planks for a living.”

Alice rolled her eyes. She laughed. Tonya can surely make her agitated in more than one way.  She often wondered what did Dana saw in this woman that others can’t, everyone must be blind and only Dana can see clearly.

“Oh my…! What’re you saying, Tonya, that it would’ve been okay if Candace had a better job?”

“At least her standard wouldn’t be lowered, look at Bette she’s a smart I can’t possibly imagine what she and Candace would have in common besides sex addictions.”

Alice looked at her in abhorrence, if Dana wasn’t a well-known tennis player does that mean Tonya wouldn’t even look at her.

“Guys, it’s not our business,” Shane jumped in disliking the conversation.

“But Bette loves Tina, there’s no doubt about it!”

“So then, they could just – why can’t they work it out?” Dana asked.

“Cause of the sex thing, and Bette can’t help it,” said Shane. 

“So if it’s just a sex thing then, you can, get it under control, right?”

Alice stared at Dana, looking sad.

“Women can control it. Men sometimes can’t because they’re controlled by their peckers,” said Tonya.

“There is no difference between men and women and this is a perfect example or Bette would’ve called it off.”

“Bette is still schtupping the carpenter?!” Tonya asked shockingly making an "oh my God" face.
