    Anyone hungry…. it’s dinnertime! What could happen when they all get together…..

    Alice – I’m staying.

    Gina – You don’t have to stay. They are just playing games with you, can’t you see that?

    Alice – They are not playing games. I can tell when someone’s playing games with me, Gina. I think it’s wrong that they tried to force this situation, but I can’t blame them for trying. It’s the last time we’ll all be together. Let me do this for them. Are you leaving or can you show some maturity? Do this for me…. Please.

    Gina – Fine… but I think you are asking for it.

    Tina – Great….. It means so much to us that your staying. Thank you.

    Tina takes Dana by the hand and guides her to the seat right next to Alice. Lara sitting on the other side of Dana. All four of them looking so tense and sitting rigidly in their chairs.

    Tina – I ordered a few bottles of wine. I hope that is alright with everyone.

    The waitress went around the table filling all their glasses. Dana put her hand over the top of her glass to stop her from pouring some in to her glass.

    Dana – Can I have some sparking water instead?

    Lara – Don’t you want some wine, sweetie?

    Dana – Not tonight.

    Carmen – Hey, Dana. I was sorry to hear about your manager quiting. That must be rough doing everything yourself.

    Dana – Yeah, well Connor was a pain in the ass anyway. I don’t have much going on right now so I have some time to look for another. I’ve compiled a list of prospective managers. Just hope I find what I’m looking for.

    Carmen – Well, I wish you luck. I’m sure anyone would be considered lucky to be your manager.

    Dana – Thank, Carmen.

     

    She wasn’t suppose to drink alcohol with the medication. Dana was wishing she would have waited to take that first pill, because she really needed a drink. Just as well, she would have gotten drunk. The Zoloft was suppose to ease anxiety but she wouldn’t feel the effects for probably weeks. Dana was in a lose – lose situation. She would have to bite the bullet and just deal with the mess. Only Lara and Roxy knew she was seeking professional help, it would be humilating if anyone else knew…especially her friends.
