They chatted for several hours that day; Tina gave the older woman an overview of how the school operates and told her that they had about more than a hundred students. Katherine was impressed when Tina explained to her about the schools visions and missions and its dedication in helping the less fortunate children. Tina was especially touched when Katherine told her that she didn’t have any college education but she would loved to help in any way she could. Tina assured Katherine that there were plenty of things she could do for the school. They exchanged numbers that day and promised to keep in touch.
“Tina I know you love watching classic movies so I’m gonna let you choose which film you want to see, not that you have many choices here!” Sam said laughing
Sam had learned that one of the oldest movie theaters in town which had been closed for a few months had started operating again and that it’s showing classic movies so she’d decided to ask Tina if she wanted to watch which the blonde gladly accepted.
“Okay I love these two movies that’s why I’m going to let you choose” Sam said looking at Tina
The two movies that were being shown were The Great Gatsby and Somewhere In Time. Even though she loved the latter she picked the first one because the latter would only remind her of Bette and she didn’t want to go there anymore. She was trying her best to forget about the brunette so the best thing that she could do was to avoid anything that will remind her of Bette.
“I love Robert Redford so it would have to be The Great Gatsby” Tina said
“Sure you’re the boss!” Sam said smiling, teasing
Tina playfully smacked Sam’s arm
“Ouch!”
“That’s what you get for always teasing me!”
“Oh Tina you’re really a sweetheart ha-ha!”
The blonde hooked her arm around Sam’s and said “You betcha!”

“Oh my god Bette this is it!” said the beaming Kit
Kit was referring to a an old country house that boasted two bedrooms, two baths, spacious living room, a kitchen, an attic and best of all it had a big garden. Kit had always wanted to have a garden where she could grow lots of flowers and vegetables.
“Baby sis I love it here!” Kit was so happy it was so evident in her voice.
“Uhmm Kit, are you sure you want this place? I mean we could look for a better house. I think there are still three houses on the list”
Kit didn’t hear what her younger sister said when she saw a path from the garden going to somewhere else. She got curious so she decided to follow the path to see where it would lead to… then her eyes grew wide
“Bette!!!”
The brunette who was busy checking the entire house was startled by her sister’s scream that she hurriedly ran towards where the voice was coming from
“What, what happened?!” the brunette said panting
“Look…”
Kit’s eyes were twinkling for she was looking at the beautiful view before her, the magnificent Ambrosia Lake. Kit loved Shawnee because of how beautiful it was and laidback environment that it offered to its people but she didn’t know that she could find paradise in her younger sister’s hometown.
Bette sighed heavily, how many times had she dreamt of this place, of this perfect place? She was sure a lot because it’s the place where no one could ever forget, it’s the place that she could never forget. She turned to her side and from where she was standing she could clearly see Tina’s beautiful abode then her eyes automatically shifted to the “art house” where the best sex of her life ever happened.
“Bette what do you think of this place?” Kit said her eyes seeking her younger sister’s approval
The brunette’s heart melted at the look of happiness showing in her sister’s eyes and she knew that Kit had finally found a home, a home that she would call her own and who was she to say no to her even if the thought of her sister living just a few meters away from the woman who rocked her world scared the hell out of her.
Bette held Kit’s hand and smiled
“It’s perfect”

why is tina selling… and why why why is bette still dreaming of tina and that “NIGHT” they were together… still hoping sarah has someone else on the side and thats why she has a headache… love Kit and if tina has to sell… glad Kit wants to buy it… love this story… pps
phacey – I’m signed in as BAT2012 but it’s me BatnAA_2009. First of all thanks for posting. It was indeed unexpected. I read your reply to my comment from the previous chapter and it made me think (which is dangerous in itself) but it made me realize why I am so heartbroken over Sarah and Sam being in relationships with Bette and Tina. The thing is that I am not considering that they are ‘happy’ in these relationships (today) with their respective partners because I ‘think’ I know what is looming ahead. I’m not enjoying the story in the moment thinking of all the ways Bette and Tina will break Sam and Sarah’s hearts to be together but that is just my gloom and doom projecting on the situation because you’ve given us a hint of the outcome. I don’t know what your plan is to bring TiBette together and it could very well be Sarah and/or Sam that choose to end their respective relationships first. It doesn’t have to be about cheating or not having their whole hearts it could just be that the relationships run their course and they breakup and move on. Even if it opens the door for TiBette having had these other women in their lives might be a good thing for all concerned. So I think I will try not to think about TiBette and just try to see the good in the Sam/Tina and the Sarah/Bette relationships because they do appear to care for these women on some level even if it’s not all encompassing love. I do hope however that it doesn’t take the route where Bette becomes a voyeur and starts hanging out at Kit’s to be close to Tina. I really hate reading about a ‘pathetic’ Bette salivating after Tina when she’s not available or doesn’t want her. As for Sam and Tina I suppose there is nothing wrong with friends with benefits as long as they each know what to expect from the relationship. It will be interesting to see how Kit plays into all of this. I’d be curious to read the dynamics between the friends whenever you care to include them. It sounds like Tina’s upcoming event might present another awkward situation where Bette and Tina will be in the same room, or else they will run into each other at Kit’s house. Looking forward to more whenever you feel inspired.

Great update. Happy that Kit has found the place for her new home and that she will be happy there. Now what does bother me is that she will be living next door to Tina and Bette will be a frequent visitor. And, if Bette is dreaming and thinking that she had the best sex of her life with Tina, then what the hell is she doing with Sarah and that also means that Sarah is not doing what she needs to do to fulfill Bette’s needs and also that Bette was wrong in her assumption that her heart belonged to Sarah. Does Sarah really have a headache or another person she’s trying out. After all, if Bette is still thinking and dreaming of Tina, then Sarah is not giving the relationship her full attention. Can hardly wait to see what happen next. I wonder if Bette will go by Sarah’s house anyway. And what will she find? Thanks for posting.

OK the Bat is back and I can’t help feeling a little mischievous after reading some of the other comments. Some are presuming that Sarah isn’t satisfying Bette sexually and that likely she is having an affair behind Bette’s back so there are your grounds to break them up but you still need to find a way to breakup Tina and Sam. So if Sarah is having an affair you can make it juicier by making Sam the other woman. This way you can kill two birds with one stone. If poor Sarah isn’t having an affair and really just has a headache, but lacks skills then perhaps Sam can give Sarah pointers on how to satisfy Bette ‘Tina Style’. I’m sure Tina is teaching Sam a thing or two that she tried with Bette so maybe Sarah not being as worldly could use some help in satisfying her woman. This works out for Sam because then she can hold onto to Tina longer because if Bette is getting what she needs at home then perhaps she would focus on the woman she has in her bed instead of the one she has in her head. OK now I will go back to my previous promise to try to read this story in the moment and stop projecting on the TiBette outcome. Ha ha ha.

I wonder… how fast will Bette run out of excuses for not visiting her sister in her new home? And if Tina’s still the best sex Bette has ever had… something is obviously lacking with Sarah, even with Bette’s limited experience. Thanks for the post. :)
