“Helena!” someone shouted, breaking me out of the trance. As I quickly stepped back, I could sense Bette’s longing and disappointment.
In that instant, I chose to dismiss what had nearly just happened. It was just a figment of my imagination.
“Keith,” I said, noticing that he was walking towards me.
“I just wanted to wish you a safe flight,” he said, “And I hope to have you back in Singapore soon.”
“Of course,” I replied, “You take care.”
“Let me help you with your bags,” he offered, rolling them outside of the hotel.
Bette and I were left alone again; I extended my hand, “It was a pleasure, again,” I said, trying to ease the tension that had formed between us.
“Yes,” she replied, “It was great to finally meet you.”
“Good bye, Bette,” I said, pulling my hand away from hers, the tips of my fingers calling out for her. I didn’t want to let go.
I left I was certain that she was watching me leave, but as I turned around, I realized that she wasn’t looking at me. She had already begun to walk away.

Bette
Damnit Keith, I cursed in my mind.
What did I expect would happen?
As I stood there, watching her say her goodbyes, I couldn’t help this feeling that I wanted her to stay. But it would have been selfish of me to expect her to. She did have someone waiting for her back home, in fact, so did I.
That moment we nearly…was I just making it all up in my mind?
When I shook her hand, I felt my words mechanically falling out of my mouth, lost in her brief touch.
“Good bye, Bette,” she said as she pulled her hand away from mine.
I watched her walking away, hoping she would turn back so I could see her smile just one last time. But she didn’t. This feeling of disappointed swelled through my being as I went back to my room.

Helena
The smell of food filled my house as I walked in, tired from my flight.
“Tash?” I called as I dropped my bags at the foot of the stairs, walking towards the kitchen.

Y’all are too funny! Btw, I will double Kena’s payoff to Keith! I can not BELIEVE they admitted that and Bette…Bette just can’t leave it alone! lol! Yeah, Helena is a bit restless and Bette’s feelings are all amplified because she is feeling lonely and unhappy. Is it just a phase…a down phase in their relationships or time to start again? Loving it….it has a definite intensity to it! Btw, I can not believe you ended it there!! lol! PPS

Would it be wrong if I said I want to kill Keith? Now I don’t care if B and H are gonna be jerks, only I don’t think they are. I want them to go on holiday….SOOOOOOOOOOOOON…please,. it’s almost Christmas, us Bette and Helena fans would love thento have a little something to open together..namely their mouths, their shirts, their hearts! pleeeeeeaaaase???

What a wonderful way to wake up! Even though that damn Keith messed it up. But nevertheless loved the update. I can only hope that maybe one of the girls will be going a holiday. Soon!

they admit defeat and Bette was the one to share first im gobsmacked.My gf went into hospital the other day shes pretty bad but got some medication until she gets a date for her operation.Im doing alright though good job im getting better well i think i am.Loved the update and emails i love it…Helena is the rock Bette has been loooking for.They have two completely different relationships to go home to.Tasha how sweet cooking and then Tina wasnt even home she just left a message ouch. Well i hope Tina makes it up to Bette soon or rather Helena helps her.Caramel
