Part One….

(Bette and Tina were deeply in love the third time around and it was for good. Both had Angelica and their family and enjoy their renewed lives together. Both were anticipating Christmas which was around the corner. But something was definetly missing and Bette and Tina figured it out and discussed it over dinner time.)

Bette: Baby, I love having Christmas with everyone at our place in the previous years, but don’t you think we should do something different this year?

Tina: Of course we should, but like what?

Bette: I was thinking you and I could go out of town for Christmas, just me and you. It would be like a romantic getaway. I know that may be wrong to leave Angelica on Christmas, but we will give her a early Christmas that she’ll never forget!

Tina (getting excited): Where were you thinking of us going?

Bette (placing her hands on Tina’s): I was thinking about going someplace so fucking freezing but romantic so we could snuggle underneath the blankets by the fireplace and make sweet love together too.

Tina: Well there is Big Bear, Lake Tahoe and Whittier. I think Lake Tahoe is a very romantic place for Christmas.

Bette: And there are things to do there like gambling, going to the show and so much more.

Tina (smirking at Bette): I think we would be too busy with each other to do much else, don’t you think?

Bette (kissing Tina’s hand softly): We’ll play it by ear, baby!

Tina: So, Lake Tahoe is it?

Bette: Anything for you, babycakes!

Tina: We’ll I’ve done my Christmas shopping for the gang and for Angie, how about you, sweetheart?

Bette: I have, all we need to do is call the gang and have a party either here or the Planet.

Tina: Cool, I’ll clean up the plates and check on Angie while you call Alice, Shane and Kit and let them know what’s up.

Bette (getting up from the dining area and got near to Tina): I can’t wait to treat you like a Queen on Christmas because you deserve it and I want to fuck you senseless too!

Tina: You deserve to be a Queen too and I’ll fuck you senseless no matter what time or holiday it is!

Bette (kissing Tina on the lips): Oh god, I fucking love you!

Tina (kissing Bette back): I fucking love you too, now get before I create a flood here!

(Bette laughed as she went to call the gang, leaving Tina to do the dishes and checking up on Angelica. Bette called Kit first at her home and Kit picked up at the first ring.)

Kit: Hello??

Bette: Hey Kit, how are you?

Kit (sound happy to hear from Bette): Hey baby sis, I am doing great and yourself?

Bette: Doing great since I’ve came up with a great plan and I need your help with it?

Kit: What is it?

(Bette explained what the plan was and Kit wasn’t sure if it was a good idea, but Bette convinced her that it was going to be a good idea and that an early Christmas party at the house would be great and Angelica could open her gifts early. Kit also was going to be watching Angelica while Bette and Tina were away and that was going to be perfect because she wanted to spend more time with her niece since she is always busy with running the Planet. After Bette talked to Kit, she dialed Alice’s number next.)

Alice: What’s up, Porter?

Bette: It’s Mrs. Kennard to you, Ms. Piercezki!

Alice: Geez, enough with the formalities, now spill it!

(Bette told Alice what was going on and Alice immediately was game on the plan and proceeding to also teased Bette about the getaway. Bette teased Alice back, laughing hard when she finally hung up and called Shane, letting her know about their plans.)

Shane: Wouldn’t miss it for the world, so see you tomorrow?

Bette: Of course!

Shane: Love ya!

Bette: Love ya too! (And she hung up the phone and went back to join her wife and daughter for some downtime.)
