Part Three

(Bette and Tina got their clothes and items packed, including some of their gifts from the gang and the gifts that they had for each other. Then, they slipped on their coats, scarfs, caps, gloves and were ready to go. Bette locked both doors and both she and Tina loaded up their SUV and were off to Lake Tahoe. Both of them exchanged gazes as they headed off. Bette placed her gloved hand on Tina’s thigh and only removed it when she needed to shift gears. A few times, she rubbed Tina’s thigh, arousing Tina to new depths of passion.)

Tina (groaning softly): Better be careful or we’ll get into an accident, my fucking sexy wife! That wouldn’t make a good Christmas!

Bette (grinning at her wife’s reaction): Don’t worry, my baby! Nothing will stop us, even if there is fucking traffic, we’ll get by!

Tina: So, where did you book us at?

Bette (taking Tina’s gloved hand and kissed it): I booked us in a cute little Chalet, a few miles from the hustle and bustle. I mean it is not a hotel or anything, it is a chalet and that means we have all of it to ourselves! No outsiders, strangers, anything! It is just you and me, baby!

Tina: Oh B!

Bette: That is part of my Christmas gift to you, darling.

Tina (smiling sweetly): Besides, making love to me underneath the covers?

Bette: Oh fuck yeah, of course me making love to you is an everyday thing and is a beautiful thing.

Tina: Kind of like excercise, right?

Bette: Of course, but so much more exciting!

Tina: Yeah. (Pauses for a minute) Bette?

Bette: Hmmm?

Tina: I love you.

Bette: I love you too, T.

(Surprisingly for the holiday season, the traffic wasn’t as bad as Bette thought and they were at Lake Tahoe within six hours instead of nine or ten hours. The only time Bette and Tina stopped was to get gas, use the bathroom and buy some snacks.  When Bette pulled up to the chalet, Tina was amazed by how beautiful it was. The chalet was not too big and was surrounded by trees and a good size amount of snow, plus there was lights surrounding the area.)

Bette (beaming): Are you ready to get settled in?

Tina: Hell yes!

Bette (laughing): That’s my T! Let me go to the doorway and get the key underneath the place mat, the owner has left it there.

Tina (getting out of the car): I’ll start getting my stuff out while you do that.

Bette: Okey-doke, I’ll get my stuff out, so don’t worry about it.

(Bette went to the chalet and got the key underneath the mat, while Tina got her stuff out of the trunk and headed to the chalet where Bette slid opened the glass door and turned on the light. Both Bette and Tina were in awe by what they saw. Inside of the chalet, was a fireplace made out of rocks, with a bearskin rug, brown leather chairs, a beige couch and a huge Christmas tree already decorated in tinsel, ornaments, a star and candy canes. It also had stairs that led to the bedroom and restroom. The kitchen was off to the side and very spacious with light brown marble counters.)

Bette (quietly): Merry fucking Christmas to both of us!

Tina: You’re telling me!

(Bette snapped out of her awe and went back outside to retrieve her stuff while Tina carried her bags upstairs and began to unpack. The bedroom was large and had a television and DVD player in there, stocked up with various DVDs. The bed was large and had a white cotton comforter with white blankets and sheets with another bearskin beside the bed. Two dressers were against the wall of the bedroom with a small red lamp on top of it. Bette and Tina were definetly going to have good times here!)
