    Author Notes:

    B/T beginning: Alice finds herself in a situation and Bette and Tina find themselves together.

     

    “Oh, you strike a hard bargain. I’ll see what I can do.”

     

    “Well, I’m never too sure what is going to slip from my mouth when I’m having an innocent heart felt conversation with my auntie” warned Meghan.

     

    “Ok, Ok, I promise that I will work it out with your aunt, you better just erase this whole fiasco from your memory.”

     

    “Pinky swear?” Meghan asked extending her finger to Alice.

     

    “Pinky swear” Alice confirmed, looping her pinky around Meghan’s.

     

     

     

     

    Meanwhile, Bette was quickly rounding yet another corner. A few more paces and she would be back at the hotel and another morning run would be done. At the same time Tina had just stepped out of her friend’s flower shop. With Bette focussing hard on maintaining her momentum and Tina busy focussing on her to-do list, they both completely missed seeing each other resulting in an unexpected collision.

     

    “Whoa, Oh, gee, sorry” Bette said stumbling over her own feet as she tried desperately to regain her balance and prevent both of them from falling over.

     

    “Ahhhh… hey…” yelled a shocked Tina as she grabbed onto Bette’s body in hopes of regaining her own balance.

     

    The two were mere seconds away from spiralling out of control and landing hard on the pavement below however the downward momentum was suddenly halted by store front window which now found the two pressed hard against.  Actually it was Tina who found herself pressed hard against the cold window with Bette pressed against her. Bette had her hands against the window on either side of Tina’s head. Their faces mere inches apart.

                                                                                          

    “I am completely sorry about that” Bette said with a sigh of relief as they both found stable ground again still not realizing she had run into Tina.

     

    Tina however, looked up and noticed that the jogger who ploughed her over was the one and only Bette Porter. “Well, I suppose if I was going to get ploughed over by anyone, you are one of the better people” laughed Tina, her hands on Bette’s hips.

     

    “Huh? Oh, hey Tina” smiled Bette finally cluing in about who’s body was pressed against hers. She couldn’t help but chuckle thinking how this collision wasn’t such a bad thing after all.

Anyway, I’m sorry, I may have not gotten what you meant, since as you know, my English is not that good, you think you won what ?… LMAO !!! Hahahaha ! Well, alright, so let’s imagine just for a second that you indeed won the challenge… How do you plan on collecting the prize ?… ‘Coz, You know, I’m still not living exactly next door to you and if memory serves I believe you were supposed to come over here ( wink !)… Anyway, this was an hilarious chapter, and a really cute one as well.     17. I almost didn’t recognise your story glad to see it back though. I totally agree with Sammer I think Bette likes the way Tina reacts to her she kissed her on the cheek and now they are going on a date. PPS
