Dana thinks to herself: I wonder when would be a good time to pinch Alices *****. Maybe I should go stand closer to herthat way it wont be too obvious. Geez Dana, whyd you have to ask Alice is you could pinch her assnow shes expecting me to.

Bette noticed the two friends acting weird, especially Dana who really did look like she was thinking about something.

Bette: Dana? are you feeling ok?

Dana looked up in shock.

Dana: huh? Ohummmyea yea no Imgreat!no not great Im goodyou know what Im just fine.

Dana was stumbling on her words not wanting to say the wrong thing to Bette because she was afraid she would make Bette feel even worse about what happened. If only she knew when to pinch that *****!

Bette: so hows Tina? Is she doing ok? Does she need anything?

Alice: shed doing fine, considering everything thats happened. Im sorry Bettebut I have to askwhat the ***** were you thinking? Did you think Tina would never find out? I meanhow long has it been going on?

Bette: it was only the one timeI promise. I dont know Alice, I dont know what I was thinking.

For the next half hour or so, they talked about the situation, where Tina was staying and what not. Alice was really upset at Bette but she could tell Bette was really sorry, but sometimes sorry doesnt cut it.

Bette: I hope, we can all still hang out together, and hopefully slowly, Tina and I can get back together.

Dana: just give it time Bette, things like this need time.

Bette: thank you Dana.

There was an awkward silence, no one knew what to say, then it came the big question.

Bette: wheres Tonya by the way? When I saw you come in with Alice I was surprised not to see Tonya.

Dana and Alice looked at each other trying to figure out what to do, both were panicked and spoke at the same time.

Alice: back at home!

Dana: we broke up.

Bette felt something was wrong.

Bette: Im sorry, I didnt quite get that.
