Alice looked at Dana with her eye brows raised as if to say, go ahead you explain.

Dana: ummmwellwe.actually I decided that this whole getting married thing was a bit too fastand I realized that I didnt really have feelings for her.

Alice smiled at Danas honesty.

Bette: Im glad you did that before the wedding. I hope there wasnt another woman.

Alice and Dana both broke out into fits of uncomfortable laughter. Bette was somewhat confused but soon figured some things out. Bette had known for years that her two friends did have some very electric chemistry and would never be surprised to actually see the two together, in fact she had hoped for it. Bette just looked at the two as if they were to kids in school and she was the teacher who knew they were hiding something from them.

Alice desperately tried to change the subject: so hows Kit? Havent seen her ina day?

Bette: is there something you two would like to tell me?

Alice and Dana spoke in unison.

Alice: no!

Dana frowned and dropped her head: yes.

Alice: Dana!

Dana: what AL? you know Im no good at lying. (Dana looks at Bette) there was another woman.

Alice: Dana!

Dana: let me finishI guess you could say she was the other woman in all my relationships

Alice: all?

Dana: ok my two relationshipsJesus Al you going to let me finishI got something good I want to say.

Bette: go on Dana.

Dana: thank you(Dana looks nervous) it was just recently I realized that when she kissed me. So I hope you approve Bette, because I love her.

Dana and Bette look at each other and suddenly hear someone sniffling.

Dana and Bette look at Alice.

Alice: what? That was ***** beautifuland when do we ever hear something like that from Dananever.

Dana: thanks Al. (sarcastically)

Bette: so how long have you two been together?

Dana has her arm around Alice and comforting her. Alice quickly looks up.

Alice: how the ***** did you know?

Bette: it wasnt that hard to figure outweve all been rooting for you two from the beginning.

Dana: the beginning? Why didnt you say anything?

Bette: its better to let to friends figure it out on their own. Ill go get you some Kleenex.

Bette gets up to leave and once shes out of the room Danas hand slides down Alices back and pinches her *****.

Alice: Dana!

Dana: you said I could when she wasnt looking.

Alice: what you said was beautifuldid you mean it?

Dana looks down shyly: yea, I love you Al.

Alice lifts Danas chin so that they are facing each other: I love you too.

They share a sweet kiss and can hear that Bette is coming back. Danas hand goes down Alices back faster than last time and gets a quick pinch.

Dana: just felt right.

What a ***** cute couple eh?
