    Bette talks to James andf shares some special time with Tina

    Bette nodded “I do – they are my whole world “

    “Like Molly and Martha are for me “

    “Two devoted family people – who would have thought it “

    “So will you ask Tina and Angie about coming and meeting us “

    “We would all be delighted “ Bette said “I know that Angie will make some little friends when she starts school but it would be wonderful for her to have other friends “

    “If they get on maybe we can baby sit for you – I don’t imagine you and Tina have had a night out since she arrived “

    Bette shook her head “No – we do go out for meals but its usually breakfast “

    “I am sure you would love to dress up and take Tina out for the night “

    Bette nodded “It would be fantastic – thanks James – and I am sure if they become friends we can baby-sit for the two of you “

    James nodded and dried his hands “That would be good- as you are feeling generous I think I will go and give the credit card a bashing before I go home “

    “I will leave you to it. All Tina’s stuff was due to arrive today “

    “There will be some memories there for you “

    Bette smiled “ I am expecting to see stuff that I never thought I would see again “

    “I think the way that you have changed the most is that you don’t see tears as an expression of weakness. When you cried in LA it was because you were so angry you were fit to explode “

    Bette smiled “You might be right – goodnight James “

    “Goodnight Bette “

    Bette arrived home – as always looking forward to seeing her two favourite women. She unlocked the door and went inside. There were several large packing crates facing the front door. Bette expected that the whole apartment would be an unspeakable mess. The sitting room also had lots of boxes scattered around the room. Bette examined the one closest to her – “KITCHEN TOOLS – NEW YORK” written in Tina’s neat handwriting. She heard Angie laughing and followed the sounds – Tina and Angie were sitting on the carpet in Angie’s room.

Hey Ally, I am so glad that Bette and Tina have found each other again and are building a family for Angelica.They have been through so much heartsche that it is difficult to accept their friends’ admonishment of their renewed partnership.They have each grown up and are ready and willing to fully commit to each other.What comes through these magical words in the strength of their love and eagerness to begin again.There is hope and love for us all.And yes, Bette is an expert in love making but I would love to read how she lets go and allows herself to enjoy Tina’s talents too.More please.Just amazing.Your Loyal Fan.

    4. Fantastic chapter AllyE. It’s great they have informally committed themselves to each other and their lives together again. Hopefully they will make a more formal commitment to each other and to Angie sometime in the future. I’m really surprised at Alice’s vehemence to them being together again and I still think it is a bit of jealousy on Alices’ part, maybe or maybe not, whatever it may be Alice has shown herself to be a fairweather friend. So it is fine that Tina and Bette both have written her off. Kit, I don’t understand at all. Know you will reveal all to us at some point when it is appropriate in the story. Thanks for posting.
