“T, what is it? You turned pale as if you have seen a ghost.”
Tina’s mouth was dry and she swallowed a huge lump in her throat before answering, “No, I’m fine…I just…I thought of you leaving me one day and I got really scared because I don’t know if I could live without you.”
She swallowed again and averted her eyes, afraid that Bette will see the truth in them.
“Baby, I’m not going to leave you,” Bette said reassuringly, touching Tina’s chin and lifting her face so they can look into each other’s eyes. “I love you so much.”
Tina’s eyes filled with tears as Bette moved closer and gave her a lingering kiss.
“Do you want to lie down before we have to get ready and meet the girls for dinner?” Bette suggested after they came up for air. “You look exhausted, honey.”
“I would love to…all those interventions, revelations and mysteries drained my energy to a zero level,” Tina replied gratefully, needing some time to gather her emotional and physical strength back. “On one condition, though…”
“Name it and it’s yours, baby,” Bette smiled gently.
“I want you to hold me,” Tina said timidly, trying not to sound too needy.
“With pleasure,” Bette took Tina’s hand and led her to their bedroom. She kissed Tina gently and began removing her robe while continuing to kiss her exposed skin.
Tina felt another surge of desire flowing through her body and she placed her lips on Bette’s, kissing her with all the passion and love she felt for the brunette.
Bette removed the covers and gently pushed Tina on the bed, sliding behind her. She placed a small kiss on the nape of her neck. Tina moaned softly and moved her body closer into Bette’s, feeling her hard nipples pressing into her back.
“So much for zero energy,” Bette chuckled softly. She exhaled slowly and placed soft kisses along Tina’s hairline, making the rest of her nerves standing on end.
“I can never get enough of you…I want to love you forever,” Tina whispered and arched her back, grabbing Bette’s hand, bringing it around and placing it on her breasts.

Tina, Tina, Tina. Sigh. Do we get to vote? Can I pretend that there is a poll? Pretty please????!!!!! Coz at this point, iu din”t think Bette should ever find out that Tina knew that Christina lived. I think Bette shoyld find out so that she can choose (we all know who she’ll picked :-) ). As I have said before, I adore this story. You create such a dilemma for me. I love your reports. I love this story. Hmm. OK. I will take my comfort in your promise to finish it. After all, if you don’t we all know how to track you down—at the next L event! Don’t think I won’t do it!!!!!!!!!
Finally caught up with this story, I’ve missed it! Oh Tina, she can’t hide that from Bette, she has to have more faith. Dreadful old woman, Clarice and Bette’s sketch of Tina in the past. Hmm… still can’t link them together yet, hopefully more clues to come, thanks for the update and PPS!

I started reading on this site with this story, I still look forward to each chapter.
Just got into this, I had to go read the previous chapters. That sketch was interesting. (Looking into my crystal ball) I see a bright future for Tina and Elizabeth. Bette was able to make a sketch of tina, so in the near future they will actually meet in the past. (Uh, if that doesnt give one a headache.) Christina of 1885 must be a previous incarnation of 2006 tina and if christina didnt in fact die in 1885 and tina goes back to that time, im in for a bigger headache am i not? Oh this is exciting, thank you.
