    Helena : don’t be such a smart ass Porter, she only lets you in the baby’s life because I told her she owes it to you.

     

    Bette : what do you mean?

     

    Helena : I told her about my struggle with my ex and that as the other parent you have rights too, so in fact you should be more grateful to me instead of calling me names.

     

    Bette : me grateful to you … hah .. when hell freezes over. I just don’t believe you Helena.

     

    Helena : whatever Bette.  Now if you will excuse me this conversation is over because in contrast to other people some of us have work to do.

     

    Bette : what did you say?

     

    Helena : you heard me Bette, now get out of my office and get to work, as I recal you have a show coming up next month and I haven’t seen much of your ideas yet.  So if you inteed to keep your job here you better get me some ideas ‘pronto’.  Got me?

     

    Bette : you’ll get your fucking ideas and you can’t fire me

     

    Helena : you wanna bet?  Now as I said get out or do you want me to call security?

     

    Bette (clenching her teeth) : bitch

     

    Helena : what did you call me?

     

    Bette : you heard me

     

    She turned around, got out of Helena’s office slamming the door behind her and walked back to hers.

     

    Bette : god I hate that woman.   But she won’t get me.  I won’t let this happen, you want fucking ideas, you’ll get your fucking ideas even if I have to spend the night here.

     

    She buzzed James.

     

    James : Yes Bette

     

    Bette : get me all you can find for the next Spring show NOW ok.

     

    James : ok boss , coming right up.

     

    Ten minutes later James brought everything he had on the Spring show to Bette’s office and she started working on it.  She was so focussed on her work she hardly noticed her cell going off.  Finally she realized and took it out of the top drawer, looking at the ID before answering.

    3. Love the alphaness of Bette and the somehow slightly softer side of Helena. But they are both definitely strong willed women, and that’s really great. I don’t trust Tina, she’s like a hawk, think she is playing only a role to get the big prize with one of them. Who’s on the phone girls, second chapter and the cliffhangers are already there. Well, great story stick your heads together and come up with the next one pretty soon. Thanks for sharing this nice story.

    4. As much as I love the Belena stories this one is really troubling. They truly hate and disrespect each other. If they end up being sexual. It will be hot with all the anger but this will not be a lasting love. I see them in a scratching, hair pulling wrestling match pretty soon

    5. I hope its Peggy wanting to help Bette start a gallery again. Lets give Helena a run for her money. and keep her away from Bette so she and Tina can remain friends Just dont let it become sexual between them {Helena and Bette. thanks

    6. i rarely judge book by its cover but i do it alot by its title and this title and the way the story is going suggests a lot..unless, B&T will begin hating each other suddenly and then fall in love again…but like lamentamini said, i’m keeping an open mind for now ;)

    10. …tsk…tsk…Belena you are doing it…you are going with the tension between Bette and Helena…I think you’re gonna make it sexual tension. I think right now…you have Bette and Tina in a friendship…yes Bette cares about the baby but you don’t have her pining after Tina in a “I love her more than life we have to be together” way…but you have Helena & Bette’s tension so thick they will end up on a desk at the CAC…I can just feel it. I could be wrong…but you have me gunshy and suspicious. Please post soon.
