    I QUIT

     

    Bette started to pick up her stuff and walked to the door.

     

    Helena : if you walk out that door, you’re fired you hear me !

     

    Bette : fine have it your way fired or quitting I don’t care I’m gone.

     

    She got out the door, passed by James and went straight to her car on the parking lot. She drove to the Planet as she needed something strong to calm her down and talk to Kit.  As she arrived she saw Tina sitting at a table with Alice and Shane.

     

    Bette (thinking) : great that’s just what I need, my friends hanging out here, being in my face about what I’m doing here at this hour.

     

    She asked for Kit who was in her office and she went straight to her.

    In the meanwhile at the table.

     

    Alice : what is Porter doing here at this hour?

     

    Tina : I don’t know she should be at the CAC because she has a show coming up next month.  She didn’t look to good though.  I better go in that office and see if I can help.

     

    Shane : I guess you better leave her alone Tina.  If she went straight to Kit means that she will only need to talk to Kit okay.

     

    Kit’s office

     

    Kit : hey baby girl what are you doing here again?

     

    Bette : that fucking scourge was on my back again Kit.  I couldn’t take it any longer so I quite and I got fired.

     

    Kit : wow you quite?

     

    Bette : yeah I had been working on this project for the Spring exhibition all day and night yesterday and when I explained it to her this morning she said it sucked.  She said I wasn’t good at what I do.  So I had it and I told her to shove her echibition and I quite.  But she jelled at me I was fired so either way I don’t work at CAC no more.

     

    Kit : Oh baby girl I’m so sorry but weren’t you a bit hasty here.  What are you going to do now?

     

    Bette : I don’t know Kit.  I need to think about it but I need a drink right now, can you fix me something.

    3. Love the alphaness of Bette and the somehow slightly softer side of Helena. But they are both definitely strong willed women, and that’s really great. I don’t trust Tina, she’s like a hawk, think she is playing only a role to get the big prize with one of them. Who’s on the phone girls, second chapter and the cliffhangers are already there. Well, great story stick your heads together and come up with the next one pretty soon. Thanks for sharing this nice story.

    4. As much as I love the Belena stories this one is really troubling. They truly hate and disrespect each other. If they end up being sexual. It will be hot with all the anger but this will not be a lasting love. I see them in a scratching, hair pulling wrestling match pretty soon

    5. I hope its Peggy wanting to help Bette start a gallery again. Lets give Helena a run for her money. and keep her away from Bette so she and Tina can remain friends Just dont let it become sexual between them {Helena and Bette. thanks

    6. i rarely judge book by its cover but i do it alot by its title and this title and the way the story is going suggests a lot..unless, B&T will begin hating each other suddenly and then fall in love again…but like lamentamini said, i’m keeping an open mind for now ;)

    10. …tsk…tsk…Belena you are doing it…you are going with the tension between Bette and Helena…I think you’re gonna make it sexual tension. I think right now…you have Bette and Tina in a friendship…yes Bette cares about the baby but you don’t have her pining after Tina in a “I love her more than life we have to be together” way…but you have Helena & Bette’s tension so thick they will end up on a desk at the CAC…I can just feel it. I could be wrong…but you have me gunshy and suspicious. Please post soon.
