Shane: ‘It’s going to be fine I promise’

Shane wipes some of Sue’s teas away with her longsleve shirt.

Shane: ‘You can always come to me if you have any problems here alright?’

Sue: ‘Yes, thank you’

Shane: ‘Tomorrow I’ll take you to the police office to declare a statement’

Sue: ‘But..’

Shane: ‘No buts that’s an order by me, the police here can do a lot for you but you have to declare your statement’

Shane looks around and changes the subject she doesn’t want to make Sue to nervous.

Shane: ‘What’s your plan? Will you stay here or go back to England really fast?’

Sue: ‘I don’t know, It depends on how long Marina will have me, I still want to stay here and see the city’

Shane’s phone rings, she reaches in her pocket to find it.

Shane to Sue: ‘excuse me’

‘Hey, yeah we’re still on tonight, yeah sure Ill pick you up around 9 ok? Alright I’ll see you than, bye’

Sue: ‘Hot date?’

Shane smiles

Shane: ‘Sort of, let’s go back you can have dinner at my place and I’ll bring you to Marina’s afterwards, She’s normally not home before 8 she works late at The Planet you can go out and have dinner but your always welcome to join Jenny and me at our apartment, although I doubt if its any better than the pickup restaurants down the streets’

Sue: ‘Yes, I would really like that’

It was a strange feeling to Sue, she felt so safe around Shane, Shane seemed so strong and confident.

She really wanted to be around her Shane almost felt like a big sister to her.

Shane liked Sue already, she knew that Sue would be a great person if she wasn’t this shy.

‘Maybe when I know her a little longer she’ll open up to me’ Shane thought.

Jenny: ‘You like it? When Shane told me you where coming over for dinner I really didn’t know what to cook so I made it simple’

Shane: ‘Like we always do’

Sue: ‘Yeah its great,  I haven’t eaten anything since I left the plane yesterday, so I’m kinda starved’
