“Al’ight, folks, let’s make room for the couple, and let me, the only legit wedding officiant minister, work her magic.” Alice snapped her fingers as if she could make a rain of sugar.
The rest of the group automatically backed to the end of the room. Suddenly the place seemed tight.
Michelangelo stood by his mothers’ side, and held a violet colored square pillow, on which sat another velvety box with two wedding bands in it.
“Now, listen up you two.” Alice pitched in again, and stood tall on her heels. “Miss Christina Kennard, repeat after me, would ya?”
It made everybody roll their eyes. They couldn’t find any other people in this world to perform a wedding ceremony like that. But it was a peculiar wedding after all.
“Ahem, I, Christina Kennard, continue to take you, Elizabeth Porter, to be my lawfully wedded wife,”
Tina followed, and didn’t stop for Alice to read her next line. “to have and to hold, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, from this day forward, until death do us apart.” She remembered the exact words she said on that day, and she relived the moment again and again, for ten whole years. “I love you.”
Alice shrugged, saved her the breath. “And now, I, Elizabeth Porter—” She got cut off by the brunette.
“Take you, Christina Kennard, mother of my child, friend of my all friends, love of my life, for better and for worse, for richer or for poorer—not very likely mind if I add,” her friends chuckled in the background, “in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us apart.”
“Oookay! Now, with the power given by the state of California and www dot bobpastor dot net, I hereby announce you, wife, and wife, again.” Alice read her card and pursed her lips. “Now what?”
“Exchange the rings, Al.” Bette glared at the woman and said through her teeth.
“Oooh right, right. Gi’me that, kid.” The woman snatched the rings from the boy and distributed them to the couple. “You can exchange wedding rings now.”
Bette held her bride’s hand, and gently slid the second ring on top of the engagement ring. She watched with loving eyes as Tina put the other ring on her finger.

Hey guys! Sorry that it took longer than my usual, already slow ass to update a new chapter.
And it’s so nice to see so many people that support me and like my writing.
I think it’s pretty obvious that this story is heading nicely to a happy ending.
Spoiler alert: so now we have the wedding, what’s next…hmmm… I’m thinking, children?
The past week I was packing my stuff for the travel. Leaving on the 18th this month to the exciting USA. I’m nervous, like shaking nervous as the days count down. But I’m also so very excited that I’ll spend the following four years at University of Wisconsin Madison. It’s an absolute bless for me to study there.
Maybe I’ll finally meet someone, who knows. :)
Oh and I’m landing in Chicago first so definitely try the Chicago pizza!
Question: has anybody seen the show Chicago Fire?
I read some fanfic regarding the couple Leslie Shay and Allison Rafferty. But there’re way less fanfic for this paring. I think they’re cute tho.

As usual I love how in love Bette is with Tina here.. 10 years of almost being away and yet she is extremely still in love with Tee. It gave me hope that true love never fades.
