Season 4 RPG – Episode 1 – Lesbian Phone Tree

    Shane – 5.42 AM
    by DarknessDescends

Shane looked at the clock on her cell-phone – 5.42 am – before pressing the call button and have the phone dial Jenny’s number for what could’ve been the hundredth time that night. It certainly felt like it.

“Where are you?” she said quietly to herself, pacing back and forth in the living-room of the house she shared with her best friend. “Pick up the goddamn phone.”

She already knew it was in vain; Jenny wasn’t going to answer her phone. If she was able to, she would already have heard the numerous voice messages Shane had left and she would surely have called her back by now. Shane had no idea where she could have gone – before they’d left Tasha’s going away party, they’d looked for her everywhere at the beach and in Catherine’s house, but she was nowhere to be seen. She could be anywhere. She could be dead. No, Shane pushed that thought deep into the back of her head. She had to be able to find her somehow.

After Shane had taken Paige back to the house and watched her fall asleep, she got dressed again and went back to her car; she drove around town for hours hoping she’d spot her friend, but without any luck.

She reached down to pick up Sounder, Jenny’s puppy, from the floor and sat down on the couch cuddling him. When she reached Jenny’s voicemail once again, she ended the call and let out a deep sigh. There wasn’t much she could do at this point. She’d already called the police and been told they couldn’t do anything until Jenny had been missing for 24 hours.

    “Please… please just be safe…”

    Tasha – 07:56 hours
    by November

She flew down the highway, a khaki streak on a fast bike, hours later than she should be. Despite the warm lazy smoggy day, the wind of doing nearly a hundred miles an hour cut through her desert fatigues. It was still early, the highway deserted, and she was hedging her bets that she wouldn’t be pulled over by a cop. She hadn’t slept a wink, yet she was aware of every speck of passing asphalt, every yellow dash in the road.
