“I love you so much,” she whispers in Molly’s ear. Molly lifts her head from Shane’s shoulder and kisses her passionately. As Shane and Molly are lost in each other’s embrace and kiss, the crowd around them begins to dissipate, except for their friends and family who are still nearby.

            Shane and Molly slowly begin to realize that they are in the middle of the gallery and break apart. When they do so, Shay rushes towards them and throws his arms around both of them. They laugh and hug him, as everyone else comes closer. They all offer their congratulations and hug and kiss both of them.

            “That was quite a proposal!” Joyce comments, clasping her hand on Shane’s shoulder.

            “Thanks. I can’t believe I just did that!” Shane replies, laughing and shaking her head in disbelief.

            “Me neither!” Alice says, throwing her arms around Shane. “I didn’t know you had that in you!”

            “I did,” Jenny says, confidently. “You two are going to be so happy together.”

            “Thanks, Jen,” Shane says, as she gives her a peck on the cheek.

            While everyone is talking with Shane, Phyllis has pulled Molly aside to congratulate her daughter in private. Hugging her tightly, Phyllis says, through her laughter and tears, “Congratulations, baby. I told you it would happen for you someday.”

            “Thanks, Mom,” Molly says through a broad smile, still wrapped in Phyllis’s embrace.

            Having seen Molly and Phyllis hugging, Shane excuses herself from her friends and strides over to her fiancée and soon to be mother-in –law. “Hey, Mom,” Shane says awkwardly, laughing, causing both Phyllis and Molly to erupt in laughter as well.

            Phyllis lets go of Molly and pulls Shane into a hug. “You take care of my baby, now, you hear?” she jokingly says to Shane.

            “I will,” Shane says, hugging Phyllis back.

            After a few moments, Molly lightheartedly says, “Mom, can I have Shane back?” Phyllis chuckles, lets go of Shane, gives Molly a quick peck and heads over to the rest of the group.

            Molly takes Shane’s hand and pulls her close to her. “I love you,” she says, sweetly, caressing her cheek.

Shane smiles and presses her lips to Molly’s. “I love you, too.” She kisses Molly hungrily. “What do you say we get out of here?” she asks, devilishly, as her hands begin to roam Molly’s body. Smiling and biting her lower lip, Molly nods. Shane adds, “Bette and Tina are going to take Shay tonight. We have the house to ourselves.” Molly smiles coyly, takes Shane’s hand and leads her out of the gallery.
