“Aren’t you going to introduce me to your fiancée?” Carmen asks, sarcastically, as she offers her hand to Molly. “I’m Carmen de la Pica Morales, owner of PM Entertainment and your DJ.”

            Molly tentatively shakes Carmen’s hand, not sure what to make of the situation. She knew all about Carmen and what had transpired between her and Shane. She knew that it was all ancient history for Shane and that Shane loved her and only her now, but she still was quite uneasy with seeing her. “Hi,” was all Molly could muster up.

            Shaking herself from her stupor, Shane asks, “What the hell are you doing here?”

            “I told you. I’m your DJ.”

            “Why would you take this job?” Shane asks, frustrated. “If you knew it was my wedding, why do it?”

            “Because I wanted to see you break another poor girl’s heart,” Carmen says, bitterly.

“This isn’t fucking happening,” Shane says, angrily, as she turns to Molly, and grabs her hand. “Let’s get out of here. We’ll find another DJ.”

Shane and Molly start to leave as Carmen calls after them, “Wait!”

Shane spins around and coolly, asks, “What now?”

Carmen walks up to them and stands directly in front of Molly. “I just want to warn you about her.”

“Fuck you,” Shane says as she moves to stand in between Carmen and Molly.

“She’ll break your heart. She won’t go through with it,” Carmen yells over Shane’s shoulder. Molly just stands there, stunned by the animosity that Carmen still harbors for Shane, while Shane grows angrier and angrier with every word that Carmen says.

“Fuck you,” Shane says, again, pointing her finger angrily at Carmen. “You know nothing about us. I love her and this is happening. Don’t you try to ruin it.” Shane spins around to leave, but once again is stopped by Carmen’s yelling.

“You loved me and you still left,” Carmen says, belligerently, trying to shake Molly up.

Shane, facing away from Carmen, takes a deep breath. She leans into Molly and whispers in her ear, “Give me a minute.”

Molly nods, knowing that Shane needs to handle this with Carmen. She gives Shane a quick kiss on the cheek, says, “I’ll go wait in the car,” and confidently struts out of The Planet to show Carmen that she did not get to her.
