“Yeah, I’m fine,” Molly says, as she looks around. “You okay, Sophie?”

            Rubbing her head, Sophie replies, “Yeah, I think so. I hit my head on the dash, but I think I’m okay. What happened?”

            Leonard finally makes his way to the car. “You girls okay?”

            “Yeah, we’re fine, Daddy,” Sophie says, getting out of the car, with her father’s help.

            Shane takes Molly’s hand and guides her out of the car and asks, “What happened baby?”, just as the other driver gets out of his car and begins screaming and cursing at Molly.

            “What the fuck is wrong with you? Are you retarded? Didn’t you see I was stopped?” he bellows.

            “Yeah, I, I’m sorry,” Molly stutters.

            “Look, buddy,” Shane says, standing in front of Molly, trying to shield her. She places her arm out in front of her to stop him from advancing and holds Molly’s hand with her free hand. “It was an accident, okay? Everyone’s okay. No one’s seriously injured. I have insurance. Everything will be fine.”

            “Whatever. I’m calling the cops. I want a police report.”
            “Fine. That’s a good idea. Ask them to send an ambulance,” Shane says, turning back to Molly. “I want you to get checked out at the hospital.”

            “Babe, I told you, I’m fine,” Molly insists, as Shane escorts her to the side of the road and sits her down on a bench.

            Kneeling in front of her, Shane sweeps the hair from her forehead and looks for any abrasions or bruises. “Still as beautiful as ever,” she says, smiling, caressing her cheek. Leonard stands next to them, watching and listening to them, as he tends to Sophie.

            Molly smiles feebly, as she takes Shane’s hand. “If it makes you feel better, I’ll go to the hospital,” she concedes.

            “Good. Now what happened out there?” Shane asks.

            “I saw you and Daddy arguing,” Molly admits, to which Shane hangs her head in shame. “I took my eyes off the road for just a moment because I was watching you and bam! I hit the car in front of me.” Having heard this, Leonard shakes his head, feeling terrible that he was the cause of this.
