Alice and Dana are laying on the couch reading.
“What do you think about the whole Harper and Shane thing?”  Alice says out of the blue.
“Huh?”  Dana says being pulled out of her reading trance.
“What do you think about Harper and Shane?”  Alice turns to face her.
Dana looks at Alice slightly confused.  “Um… I think it’s great, why?”
“I don’t know, I was just thinking about it and I’m just surprised we haven’t seen Shane freak out.”
“Why would she freak out?”  Dana’s not following, her mind is still on her intense murder mystery.
“Well, she’s never really liked someone like this before.  You remember how she got with Cherie and Carmen.”
“You’re not jealous are you?”  Dana knows how Alice can be.
Alice looks completely shocked, “What?  No!”  She says totally unnerved, “You don’t really think that do you?”
“I didn’t, but now you’ve got me wondering.”
“Baby,” Alice moves in close to Dana looking her in the eyes.  “You are the only one I want.  The only one I need.”  She rests her forehead against Dana’s, “I love you.”
Dana smiles with relief, “I’m glad to hear that.”  Dana takes Alice’s face in her hands, “Listen, be happy for Shane.  She’s working hard at changing herself and I know that’s a scary thing for her.  She needs our support.”
“You’re right, as always.”  Alice kisses her.

“Baby!”  Tina yells from the kitchen.
Bette sticks her head out the bedroom door, “Yeah?”
“Um, can you come here?!”  Tina’s voice is shaky.
“Just a minute ok?  I have to finish getting dressed.”  Bette says.
“It’s kind of important.”
Bette’s eyes fills with concern as she quickly moves toward the kitchen.  “What’s…”  Bette sees Tina standing in a puddle of water.
“My water broke.”  Tina’s voice is a mix of nerves and excitement.
“Oh my God.”  Bette says excitedly.

“Mmm good morning beautiful.”  Harper says stretching out in bed clutching the phone.
“Good morning.”  Shane purrs, excited by the ***** sweetness of Harper’s morning voice.  “What are you still doing in bed?”
“I worked until 3 on the CD layout.”
“Aw, do you want to go back to sleep?”
“No, I need to get up and get to the office.”
“What are you wearing?”  Shane puts on her best phone ***** voice.
Harper laughs.

Carmen is stretching out in the front yard after her morning run.  She looks up when she hears a car pull into Bette and Tina’s.  She removes her headphones when she sees Bette fling open the front door.  Carmen eyes the scene and watches the woman pulling a couple of large bags from her car.  As Bette goes to help her she sees Carmen.
“Tina’s having the baby!”  Bette sounds elated but completely frazzled.
“Ohmygod!!!”  Carmen jumps at the news.  “What can I do?”
“Call people and tell them!”  Bette says over her shoulder as she hurries back into the house.
“Holy *****!”  An excited Carmen shouts before running into Jenny’s to wake her.

“Oh my God why are you calling so early?”  Is how a grumpy Alice picks up the phone, while Dana pulls a pillow over her head.
“What?!?!!”  Alice isn’t sure she heard Jenny right.  “Wow.  Wow.  Wow.”  She shakes Dana, “Tina’s having the baby!”
Dana jolts up, “Holy *****!”
“I’ll call Kit.”  Alice says before hanging up on Jenny.

“Hang on a second.”  Shane moves the phone to see who’s calling her.  “It’s Jenny, can you hang on a minute?”  She has a slight look of concern on her face.
“Of course.”  Harper says finally getting out of bed.
“Hey Jen, what’s up?”  Shane says having clicked over.
“Tina’s in labor!”  Jenny says excitedly.
“No ***** way!”  Shane jumps out of her chair in the hair and make up trailer.  “Where is she?  Where are you?”
“She’s at home and so am I.  Carmen saw the mid wife drive up.  Then Bette told her the news.”
Shane paces the trailer, “I can’t believe I’m not there.”  She says rubbing her hand over the top of her head.
“I know.”
“You have to take lots of pictures and send them to me.”
