(Cut to Wayne Industries. Metropolis division. Bruce, Henry and Doctor Stein are in a laboratory)

Stein: We’ll get started right away

Bruce: Good

Henry: If this succeeds, will there be any side effects?

Stein: None this piece of technology was designed to resurrect her and it will but it will take time

Bruce: How much time?

Stein: It’s hard to say really depends on her could be days could be weeks or even months

Bruce: I see

Stein: If something or someone she knows and cares for were to present then it may quicken her recovery time

Bruce: I know of someone but I don’t know how she’ll react to the news

Henry: I have a feeling she’ll take it rather well

Bruce: You don’t know her like I do this will knock her for six

Henry: It will make her realise that she isn’t to blame and she has nothing to feel guilty about

Bruce: Maybe, maybe not we’ll see

Stein: Is this person here now?

Bruce: Yes she’s in my office

Stein: It would be beneficial to bring her down now

Bruce: Henry go and get her

(Henry nods and goes to Bruce’s office. Bruce watches as Henry leaves)

Bruce: This is going to be a bumpy ride

Stein: Maybe but you know you’re doing the right thing?

Stein: May I ask who this woman is?

Bruce: Her best friend

(Cut to Bruce’s office. Kate was staring out of the window looking at the city below thinking about what she had cost them. Henry enters)

Henry: There is someone who needs to see you

Kate: If it’s Bruce tell him to go to hell

Henry: Kate this is important please

Kate: Alright

(Kate follows Henry out of the office and down to the laboratory. Kate was beginning to get suspicious)

Kate: What’s going on Henry? Why are we down here?

Henry: You’ll see soon enough

(Henry and Kate enter the laboratory. Bruce and Doctor Stein are standing next to chamber of some sort that was covered over)

Bruce: I know you’re not happy with me right now but we need your help

Kate: With what?

(Henry, Bruce and Doctor Stein exchange worried glances)

Kate: Bruce?

Bruce: With her

(Doctor Stein pulls away the sheet covering the glass chamber. Kate gasps in utter shock and disbelief)

Kate: How?

Bruce: That doesn’t matter, what matters is that she lives

Kate: What can I do?
