“Missing her mommy for sure. Kit has her for the weekend.” Kit originally made the plan so the couple could spend the day with each other, but an emergency pulled the young Porter to the other side of the globe. “And your son is of course ever the romantic. I can’t wait till Jill’s parents tell me what grand gestures he pulls off this year.” Tina smiled. Like mother, like son. Bette was definitely behind some of the things Michelangelo came up with.
This information brought a proud smile on the brunette’s face. She was the master of romantic gestures. “I’m really sorry, baby. We always celebrate together.”
“It’s ok, Bette. It’s not like a national holiday or anything.”
“It should be though.”
“I know, right?” Tina giggled, and then let out a deep breath. It had only been a bit over than a week, she already missed her wife so much that it hurt.
They fell into a comfortable silence, looking at their screens and cherishing their short moment together.
The ring of the door bell interrupted the moment. Bette raised a brow. “Another delivery? I’ll be right back.” She gripped the front of her pajama tighter and went up to answer the door, missing a wicked smirk from her wife.
Tina heard some talking and shuffling in the background. And Bette’s laughter followed the sound of the door clanking close. She heard the brunette saying “Oh my fucking god” before seeing the brightened face on her screen again.
“Tina…” A warning purr rolled from the back of her throat. Bette twirled the ribbon in one hand and held the present in another, her eyes widened and mouth agape. She put down the wrap and ribbon, and picked up something else in the box, two batteries. And after putting them into the device, she tentatively pushed the button on the thing, it immediately buzzed its unmistakable vibration, making her jump slightly.
The blonde had to bite her inner cheeks to prevent herself from laughing hysterically.
This time, Bette read the card out loud at first. “A little love and support to my baby. I want you to take it to work today.” “when you bend over your desk, ride it hard, and lose all your senses, you’ll think of me and remember I too possess some sort of super power.” Then she read in silence, her face flushing a warm shade of red, “enjoy your new toy, happy valentine’s day.”

Happy Valentine’s Day ladies! As I promised some of you, here’s the one-off special. And supposedly it’s a little follow-up to Round n Round We Go, so if you can’t recall some particular events that I referred to in these one-offs, you’re welcome to go back and check out the old story… nah, I’m just trying to get some more views on it lol
I’m really sorry it’s been a while since I updated on Criminal, but college is really hectic up to this point, I’m taking max credits and working max hours, so probably won’t be able to write till spring break.
And SO to my twitter family and readers. I love you all.
Oh and TN1, I may never get to the point of publishing a book but I CAN dedicate a chapter to you. So there you go! Happy Valentine’s Day, lover ;)
