    Shane mumbled

     

    “I’m fine thanks”

     

    “God I’ve been trying to reach Tina all day, I can’t get a hold of her, do you think I should go to her place and make sure she’s ok”

     

    “No” Shane simply said

     

    “Maybe something happened to her, I tried her cell, office, and house number I should.” Bette ignored Shane’s last comment

     

    “Bette, I said no” Shane said again

     

    Bette stood still for a second and stared at Shane, she got an uneasy feeling in her stomach.

     

    “Shane what the hell is going on? What are you not telling me? Is Tina ok”

     

    “Shane!”

     

    “Bette sit down”

     

    “Shane what the fuck is going on tell me! What happened to Tina?”

     

    “You want to know what happened to Tina? I’ll tell you what happen to Tina, your girlfriend Tina got cornered by your ex-girlfriend Jodie that’s what happened”

     

    “What! When, Where?” Bette got up

     

    “Today at Catherine’s Gallery, I can’t believe you didn’t warn Tina, worse I can’t believe you still haven’t told Tina about Jodie” Shane sat on the couch

     

    “Fuck” Bette said

     

    “Tina called me asked me to have dinner with her, she asked me to tell her everything I knew about you and Jodie”

     

    “What did you do?” Bette asked

     

    “I wasn’t going to tell her anything I figured it was not my place”

     

    “After a while of sitting there with her, she told she should have called Alice and well you know that would turn out I looked at Tina she looked so defeated, mad, confused so I told her, I told her everything”

     

    “Everything” Bette asked

     

    “Yup” Shane nodded

     

    “Everything I knew about, only you and Jodie know the whole story”

     

    “Was Tina upset, upset at me?”

     

    “She was upset that after all this time you couldn’t open up to her about Jodie, I mean the least you could’ve done was tell her you had run into her she had to find out from Catherine and the bitch herself. I think Jodie said some pretty fucked up things to Tina because Tina looked like she was in a bad way.”

    6. I started reading this story of yours yesterday and I couldn’t believe that I have been missing out on a wonderful story. Thank you for writing this and just so you know, I have been patiently waiting for an update since yesterday. So to see this new chapter makes me giddy with happiness.

    8. I’m pulling my hair with Bette. In a way she is kind of comparing Jodi and Tina if she is so concerned about Tina leaving her. Tina should buy the house and leave Bette to wither alone LOL. Thanks for the post music.

    12. It astounds me how Jodi and Tina are so different, like night and day, and Bette be so naive and compare them to each other. I understand hurt and pain, we all do, but for crying out loud, give me a f***ing break. If Bette loses Tina it’s no ones fault,but Bette’s. I don’t blame Tina for feeling so insecure when Bette, herself, hasn’t even cleared the air about Jodi. ILMuzic, you can update this story ten times a day, and I would still need my next fix. Please post the next chappy soon. PS, did I mention to you early, WELCOME BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!

    15. this is good stuff. needless to say, i’m waiting for the next chapter already. only thing that keeps coming back to me is that it seems Tina is the really strong one here. Gotto to give it to her because i would have thought tina would be scared shit as well especially since she has now come face to face with Jodie. Think it’s pretty normal if Tina does think Bette is carrying a really strong torch for Jodie because she doesn’t talk and is so hung up about things. Tina was after all the ugly duckling in the beginning of the story. I think i’m going to read the first few chapters again. Great stuff!
