    “No not the planet I want something a little more private, how about the Italian place by your office?”

     

    “Great how bout 7?”

     

    “Ok, I’ll see you then oh and can you keep this to yourself please, I just really need someone to talk “

     

    “Bye”

     

    Tina opened her desk drawer and retrieved two aspirins she grabbed a bottle of water and took the pills hoping to will her headache away, she closed her eyes and rested her head back on her chair.

     

    Just then her cell phone rang she picked it up and looked at the caller I.D it was Bette, she hit the ignore button, she did not want to talk to her right now.

    Tina continued to sit and wonder why Bette had not mentioned the meeting with her ex. When her phone buzzed.

     

    “Yes” Tina talked into the intercom

     

    “Bette’s on line one for you”

     

    “Can you please tell her I’m not available at the moment?”

     

    “Sure”

     

    Tina got up grabbed her notes and headed towards Aaron office on the way over she left a message with her assistant, if Bette called again to let her know she would be in meetings all afternoon.

     

     

     

     

    Chapter 38

     

    At the restaurant, Tina got there early she ordered a white wine and thought about Bette and the bitch Jodie,’ The nerve of that woman’ Tina said to herself a bit loud.

    Tina was startled by a hand on her shoulder

     

    “Hey Tina, you ok?”

    “Hey Shane I’m so glad you agreed to have dinner with me?” Tina got up and gave her friend a hug.

     

    “It sounded important, are you ok?” Shane asked

     

    “No, Shane I’m not fucken ok” Tina spoke softly

     

    “Sorry Shane, I’m a little pissed right now let’s order dinner, get you a drink then I’ll tell you what’s wrong ok?”

     

    “Whatever you say Tina, I’m here for you OK” Shane gave Tina’s hand a light squeeze.

     

    “Thanks Shane”

     

    They placed their orders, and sat in silence for a while Shane had noticed Tina looked like she had a lot of her mind so she would let Tina set the pace for their talk tonight, once Shane’s drink arrived Tina spoke.

    4. ILMuzic, how I have missed you. Thank you so much for this post. Shane needs to tell Bette about her conversation with Tina. I don’t want Tina to give Jodi the opportunity to get Bette back. Jodi will destroy Bette. Tina needs to confront Bette about her talk with Jodi. Alpha Tina needs to take control of this situation. AWESOME update. Please don’t take tooo long tooooo post again.

    5. WOW!!!! I think Tina should have went to Bette and told her she knew Jodie was in town and that Bette had talk to her. But, I am glad she called Shane and talked to her. Now Tina go get your woman to talk. Thanks PPS
