Chapter 6

We snuggled closely. “I thought I was going to have to wait for you.,” I teased.

“I couldn’t keep my mind on my work.”

“What were you thinking about instead?”

She moved her lips to mine and whispered, “This……”

She kissed me ever so sweetly; ever so softly with complete tenderness. She put her hand on the side of my face and caressed it. When she gradually pulled away from the kiss she touched my lips with her index finger, tracing first the bottom lip and then the top one. I tried to catch the finger into my mouth, until she put it in my mouth voluntarily and I clamped down on it between my teeth, trapping it momentarily. When I released it, she allowed the finger to linger on my tongue so I rolled my tongue around it, holding it still between my teeth again.

Meanwhile, she moved her lips to my eyes and brushed them briefly over my lids, then she dropped several kisses on the way to my ear where she whispered, “I love you.”

I let her finger go from inside my mouth and echoed the sentiment with a hushed, “I love you too.”

Then we began to prove it with practiced intimacy. We had made love so many times in so many ways and in so many places that if we had allowed it to happen, by now it would have seemed choreographed or tedious. However, we had come to realize that one of our most compatible assets was the fact that we both loved the sex and without ever having to say it, we conscientiously tried to keep reinventing our techniques.

It was a simple act that was supposed to end in a climax but the journey there varied so much that sometimes just making slow, sensitive love, sharing feelings that begins with a subdued, smoldering desire, really worked for both of us.

That was what was happening now. We both were covering each other’s naked bodies, with tantalizing fingers, from the balls of each finger over different parts of our skin, to scratching softly with finger nails. It was a definite turn-on that began to arouse both of us.
