    “Oh, Elizabeth, thank you…, And well, sorry… I am not formal this way always…It’s just I didn’t know it was you…”

    “Hmm…And If you knew it was me, how would you answer?” Bette asked trickily.
    “I would answer differently.”
    “Couldn’t you say how?
    “You should wait and see.” Tina finished inciting.

    “Al!”

    “Hmmm…Already jealousy, Porter? Bad sigh! …Christina loves Chinese food. She likes soccer and she collects art books. Your Tina lives alone. No pets….No husband. No children. No boyfriend or girlfriend. Lots of one night stands… She seems to be very busy to have an affair, my dear friend…” Alice closed the note book . My verdict, Bette: she’s a beautiful, intelligent, well succeed… a workaholic.

    Those words didn’t feet in Bette’s hope.

    “Shit…”

    “Oh…Oh… Are you really interested at the lady, Porter?”

    Her silence was the answer.

    “Sorry, Bette…”

    “You did nothing, Al… I thank you very much…”

    Workaholic means cell phones, phones, meetings, travels, one night stands absence, late. Words flashed like neon inside her head. Bette knew she didn’t need a workaholic in her life. More. She didn’t need a workaholic inside Domina´s life. If this is what Tina could offer, Bette already had with her own one night stands, looking for some refreshment for her body attempts.

    Sure, she had date before. Bette dated a lot, but she was never capable of finding a partner who loved Domina with openness. After her last girlfriend, she decided not to expose Domina to any woman she thought she would be kind of permanent. She would wait and see. But this wasn’t working with Tina. Her thoughts alert her.

     

    Last time the dean had finished a relationship was six months ago. Jean only showed her how hard it would be find someone that understood and respected the way she raised her child.

    Sex was great. Jean was a great woman, but she didn’t know how to lead with the way Bette educate Domina. Bette got tired from her unreasonable interferences.

    “She didn’t need the truth, Bette! You don’t have to tell her the truth all the time…”

    “She’s just five! She’s just a child.”

    “She’s going to have problems at school because you’re too damn progressive! She’s too liberal…”

    “She’s the daughter of a lesbian! How do you believe people will look at her?”

    Bette used to think how sad it was to hear the speech from this people. She didn’t want this again in her life. Besides, she had never been despair to marriage or to found somebody. Six months of nights that she got used to hunt and come back home alone. But in peace.

    4. I love this story and the way it is going. But Tina has to start finding time to spend with Bette and Mimi and she had better find that juice that Mimi likes so well. And she needs to do it herself or at least take it to them herself and not send it by someone. She also needs to find out the name of the book that her secretary bought for Mimi and read it herself so she can talk to Mimi about it. Something she did not do was tell her secretary what an extraordinary little girl Mimi is and how intelligent she is because those things would show up in the choice or selection of book that Tina chose for Mimi. She will have to remember this for the next time. Love the story. PPS

    7. Great ChapterTina should have made time to go to Bette’s pizza night,and now she HAS to go and find that juice and give it to Mimi as an apology for missing the pizza night.and Tina needs to cut down the work.PPS

    8. I can’t believe Tina didn’t make Pizza night. I don’t know if Tina’s flowers and Mimi’s book will influence Bette to give Tina another chance, especially when Bette sees her child already being disappointed by Tina. Ms. Kennard better get her priorities together and fast! She needs to hire a couple of very trustworthy assistants to sit in meetings and ‘babysit’ those spoiled movie stars. Can’t wait for the next chapter Braz!

    9. Braz, this is a very good story, love how you have Tina as a workaholic and Bette scared to have her get close to Tina and not accept or know how to be around her daughter. I enjoyed this chapter Braz,,,

    10. Fantastic chapter, Braz…I really loved the searching for words both of the ladies were doing… trying to find the right way to move their connection forward. I can’t believe Tina missed pizza night though…the woman needs to seriously take a break. She needs to come up with a better way to make it up to both of them – flowers and a book are a way to apologize but it lacks a personal touch. She needs to set up a date – and schedule that in her daily agenda! PPS!

    13. I think Bette should give Tina another chance I’m sure her schedule was already set for the week if she is trying to get to know Bette and MImi she will willingly shift some things around to have a little wiggle room. PPS

As for the story, you bet it’s totally straight forward, but watching B & T’s interaction is fantastic! Mutual flirting, sensual words exchanging and lots of sparkles pointing to different directions. It’s like a carnival of emotions, sweetie. All of them, flowing in the air. Hmmm That is sensational! Bette will have to make a plan to get Tina out of that workaholic environment and force her to reconsider her private life, too. Some Porter’s charm, perhaps could work. *wink, wink* This story is very exciting and full of bright and colors, Braz.
