Previously on The beginning of a friendship:
Bette:
I could feel her sadness and hurt when she looked away from me…
I didnt leave because of this
She again hid her face behind her hands and now started to sob…
So desperatly…
The intenseness of her feelings took me by surprise and for one moment I did not know what to do…
Her sobs grew deeper and I saw her body tremble with her emotions…
There was only one thing I could do…
But I didnt know if she wanted me to…
Slowly I reached out to her, wrapping my armed around her warm and shaking shoulders. I felt her muscles tighten and loosened my grip but then she turned to me and allowed me to draw her nearer. She put her arms around my neck and all her pain came out of her body through those tears as I softly stroked her back. She held me as if she held a lifeline, her head leaning on my shoulder, her grip tight… And after a while, the sobbing became less desperate… The frequency of her breathing decreased and her tensed body relaxed… I stroked her hair tenderly as she slowly fell asleep in my arms… Looking at the sleeping beauty in my arms my felt my heart swell with the love I felt for her… I just held here close as I softly whispered:
Ill take care of you, Tina… Dont worry…

Chapter 29
Tina:
I snuggled my head against the soft surface it was laying on… I had never felt so great waking up…
I didnt realize where I was…
It didnt matter…
I had never felt so safe…
As the blurr of sleep started to make way for awakening I began to make out the contours of the one who was holding me…
Her strong arms around me, protecting me…
And I slowly started to realize what the pillow was I so enthusiasticle cuddled with… My eyes shot open and I felt my cheeks warm with blush…
Bettes chest slowly went up and down with her breathing which caused the incredible feeling of her breasts stroking my cheeks…

Fresh cut grass…Actually fresh cut grass doesn’t smell too bad unless a lot of lawn chemicals were put on it. At this point maybe it’s time to incorporate my idea from your other story, except have Bette trip and land on Tina’s lips since she’s already prone to having another injury. ;) Oh, and me doing stand-up…nah don’t think so. I definitely wouldn’t quit my day job for that. =D
Well, I don’t think Bette will find what she’s looking for in the fridge. How about a little kiss? It’s not that difficult once you’ve started, you know. What happened to the pizza, btw? Give us more soon and thanks!
