“What!” Tina said, as she leaped out of the lounger, “You’ve slept with 150 women? My God Bette, I…I don’t even know what to say.”
“Please, Tina. You have to hear me out. First of all, please sit down, you’re naked and people might see you.”
Tina reluctantly sat down and as she did, a horrified expression appeared on her face.
“Oh my god, I’m just a number to you aren’t I? You haven’t meant anything you’ve said to me,” she tried to get up but Bette was fast and pulled her back down.
“Let go, Bette.”
“No, not until you hear me out. You have to believe me that you’re not a number to me—everything I’ve said has been true. If it wasn’t, why would I even bother with telling you the number of women I’ve been with? I knew it was a risk, but I didn’t want to lie to you and have our relationship start out with lies. I love you with all my heart, please say you believe me.”
“You want a relationship with me?”
“Of course I want a relationship with you—I love you. Do you not want a relationship with me?”
Now it was Bette’s turn to be fearful. Tina took a deep breathe letting everything sink in.
“Yes, I definitely want a relationship with you, but that’s a very daunting thing to realize the woman you love has been with so many people.”
“But Tina, as bad as this sounds, they didn’t mean anything to me. They were there to satisfy my needs. I know that is awful, but it’s the truth. I never wanted to settle down until I met you and you have to believe I only want you—I’ll do anything to prove that to you.”
“Well, I think by telling me the truth you proved that to me. Even though I don’t like it, I will accept it because I trust you and I love you too much to loose you but if you ever…”
“Don’t even go there, Tina. I would never do that. I’m only yours.”
She leaned in to kiss Tina, “I love you.”
“I love you too,” Tina said as she snuggled back into Bette.

Wow. This chapter was really cool because it kind of threw me. It wasn’t stuff I expected. I’d say thats definitely a good thing. PPS.
Great chapter. That last question really caught me off guard. I would think Bette would have proposed in a more romantic fashion, but when the time is right, you may as well jump in with both feet! Now you have to post very soon Kirby because I need to hear T’s answer!
