Alice was fighting with dropping tears and thanked God for her sunglasses, she couldn’t bare to show her fragility. “Well Dana, you are the one who decides who I am!”

Dana continued driving toward the sunset and sadness fulfilled her heart. She decided to be honest to her newfound friend and started talking. “I’m so happy to have you back in my life Al. You are my best friend and a big and important piece of my life! I really cannot imagine how I would do without you. But I feel so lonely Al… so incomplete!” Suddenly the woman become silent and sent a wide look at her friend in order to be prepared to her reaction.

“I can understand Dane, I just feel the same.” The blond nodded and seemed to be understanding. “Maybe our friendship is ready to go further…” She couldn’t even think for a second before talking and when she did it was too late. The heart was bumping in her chest and she was almost terrorized by the possible answer of Dana, whether it was positive or negative.

Dana blinked into last sun rays and softly said “No Alice. We tried to be more than friends, but it is impossible for us. We love each other so deeply, but we can not encode our love in a normal relationship. In order to preserve all the good that lies in our love we need to be friends and friendship sometimes is the best gift we can desire in our lives! We are so lucky to have it!” Then Dana stopped the car and turned to Alice caressing her face sweetly. Alice saw all the love and friendship of the entire world in Dana’s eyes, but she couldn’t see desire or lust. In that exact moment Alice understood that they would be best friends forever, but never lover again.

Alice smiled at Dana’s touch and pulled her friend near her, than asked “So you need someone to fuck!”
