“As soon as he finishes the testing. Would you like me to call you?”
“Please, I appreciate that very much.”
Tina hung up the phone and began to cry. She closed her eyes trying not to imagine her father in the hospital. Instead she did her best to picture him sitting next to her on the couch playing his guitar and singing his favorite songs to her. She started to fall asleep again when she heard Eric’s car pulling into the driveway. Regaining her senses she immdiately grabbed her things and met him outside the door. She didn’t want to be alone with him and knowing that she had time to spare she decided she should go and see her mother. Eric approached her leaning in to hug her. But she ducked his advance and immediately got into the car buckling her seatbelt. “Take me to Mom’s house please, I can’t see Dad yet this morning.” Eric angrily shut the door and got into the car. As he drove her to her mother’s house, he attempted several times to initiate conversation to no avail. She gazed out her window and refused to make eye contact with him. As the arrived at the Kennard residence, Tina immediately grabbed for the door but not before Eric grabbed for her hand.
“Tina waitpleaseplease talk to me. What’s going on?”
“No not here, not like this. Please, I just want to see Mom.”
“I love you TinaI miss you. I want to work this outwhatever it is.”
Tina gently pulled her hand from Eric’s and exited the car leaving Eric even more confused. As she walked in the front door her mother greeted her with open arms in which Tina melted into. She didn’t realize how much she needed a warm embrace as she found herself crying into her mother’s shoulder.
“Oh Christina babyit’ll be ok. He’s in the Lord’s care now, trust in him and that his will be done.”
“Momhe’s dying. Daddy’s dying. “
“I know sweetie, Carol called me earlier this morning. She also told me that you had a nasty fall last night. Are you ok dear?”
“Oh my god, how did you fall? Are you ok?” Eric said realizing that Tina needed him more than she let on. He immediately regretted leaving her at the hospital alone.

son’t be silly of course you should keep going! If (on the show) Tina leaves Bette for a man I am going to stop watching! they need to be happy. That promo had me very upset. I will live off of fanfic if Bette and Tina break up. A man! come on!

OF COURSE, continue this story. It is great and may I ask a favor, please get rid of Eric and make Tina’s mother back off. The bible thumpers really bother me in these stories. Hope I never have to face any, I just might lose my cool and tell them off. Thanks for the post.
