    A note, a confession, a kiss?

    “I thought she was over all of this.”

     

    “Excuse me?”

     

    “Oh Eric, Tina has always struggled with her sexuality. She had an experience or two in her early teens, but we were able to pray over her and help her get those evil thoughts out of her head. I see they’re back. Take a look at this.”

     

    She slides the note Bette left for Tina over to him. As he reads it he begins to feel infuriated and betrayed.

     

    “How could she? And Bette, she knows that Tina and I are engaged. That sick homosexual, she’s got another thing coming if she thinks I’m going to give up this easily.”

     

    “Now Eric, don’t act as if Tina isn’t to blame, she is a part of this to you know. Plus, you’re assuming something happened. I know Tina, she’s a faithful person. She wouldn’t do anything like that physically although I can’t promise she hasn’t mentally.”

     

    “What do I do?”

     

    “We’re going to wait here for her to come back. She has my car Eric, she’ll be back. When she returns we will pray with her, I’ll call Pastor Henry.”

     

    “She’s not going to like that at all Mom.”

     

    “She never liked it before either. But I know what’s good for her, and the Lord can heal her again. Just like he did before”

     

    Meanwhile.

     

    “Alright Bette, you’re in a hotel in Hanford. There’s only 3 hotels, I’ll find you!”

     

    Tina drove to each of the three hotels looking for Bette’s car but did not find her at any of them. Frustrated, she found a payphone and began flipping through it looking for hotels. She came across a Bed and Breakfast called Annie’s and decided to give it a shot. She found the street and as she approached the large Victorian style house she saw the familiar blue Saab in the driveway. Her heart fluttered as she parked the car and took a glance into the mirror. She quickly turned the mirror away realizing that she had never taken any time to put make-up on much less do anything to her hair. She contemplated whether she should leave and come back. But she knew she might lose her nerve. She swept her hair back, straightened up her shirt and headed for the door. As she approached the small desk in the foyer she saw a kind elderly lady sweeping the floor behind her.

    14. OF COURSE, continue this story. It is great and may I ask a favor, please get rid of Eric and make Tina’s mother back off. The bible thumpers really bother me in these stories. Hope I never have to face any, I just might lose my cool and tell them off. Thanks for the post.
