‘What is it dear?’ Tina’s mother sounded concerned.

‘Well, er, I’m getting married in three weeks. To a woman.’ Tina told them everything while she had the courage.

‘Well, wow, I don’t know quite what to say to that Tina’ She paused before standing up ‘Oh come here my baby, my little girl’s getting married and I don’t care who to as long as my daughter is happy’ Tina’s mother hugged her child.

Tina’s father remained silent for a few minutes ‘Is this a real wedding? I mean is it legal?’

‘No, it’s more of a blessing dad’ Tina said.

‘Well can I still give you away?’ he asked tentatively hoping he could give his daughter away even if it was to a woman.

‘Of course you can’ Tina held back tears at this brilliant reaction from her parents.

Tina stayed for lunch before driving back and going straight to the CAC to tell Bette what had happened.

‘Wow, that’s great baby’ Bette exclaimed as she hugged her wife to be.

‘Isn’t it just?’ beamed Tina.

A few weeks later and it was the night before the wedding.

Bette and Tina decided to have a joint hen party as they had the same friends and it would have been impossible to divide them up let alone keep Bette and Tina apart from one another.

Bette and Tina wore matching ‘l’ plates around their necks and light-up devil horns while Alice and Dana wore pink fluffy devil horns and much to Shane’s disgust Alice was trying to get her to wear some aswell.

‘Aww come on Shane, you’re no fun’ Alice pouted when Shane rejected her offer to wear her fluffy devil horns for a while.

‘Hey leave her alone, she doesn’t have to’ Tina scolded Alice.

Bette and Tina were having a great time licking alcohol off one another while their friends exchanged friendly banter.

Shane had caught the eye of a young redhead and for the best part of an hour the woman was trying to get Shane to go over and talk to her but Shane was refraining because it was her not her night, she was there to celebrate Bette and Tina.
