    After the CAC party, things get interesting – Alice has odd thoughts and Dana just wants to have her – Jenny tends to Tim and Marina goes home alone – Bette & Shane share a bottle of wine & more – Tina & Sam share breakfast and a bed –

     

                Bette sat down kicking her shoes off and wiggling her long elegant toes.  She filled her glass from the bottle and sat back.  Looking up at the clear sky and the full moon that was moving leisurely across the early morning sky.

     

                “Why do you think they did that?”  Bette asked Shane, who shrugged.  She knew why Sam had done it, because Shane had been hitting on every *****, straight or otherwise undecided female in the house.  Or was she truly attracted to Tina?  They’d had a few moments of their own heat, Tina and Sam.  Shane sighed silently, her deep voice resonating.

     

                “Cuz I deserved it.”  Shane chuckled, a sadness overcoming her. 

     

                “I guess I did too.”  Bette admitted, her accusing Tina of having the hots for Sam had sent her plummeting over the edge.  Then right into Sam’s arms; it had the opposite effect of what she’d really wanted to cause.

     

                “Why did you do it?”  Shane asked, refilling her glass with the sweet wine.

     

                “I didn’t do anything tonight, except open my mouth and yapped too much.”  Bette stated, looking at Shane, who had a thoughtful look on her face.  Shane looked at her, eyes imploring.

     

                “Why did you sleep with the carpenter?”  Bette was stunned; no one had asked her why.  Just gotten angry, given opinions.  They’d told her how she’s broken Tina’s heart.  She’d known all of that; and felt it all as each of them had berated her.

     

                “I don’t know.  I guess I felt like she could be in charge instead of me.  She pursued me, not the other way around.  She was different from Tina, and I…”  Bette stopped, trying to find the words to explain.

     

                “You wanted too.”  Shane stated, and Bette nodded; it had been as simple as that.  In many ways it being simple was what had made it so complicated.

     

                “I felt so guilty afterwards, but not enough to not do it again.  It was new, it was fresh.  I’d forgotten that you have to work at love, ***** is easy.”  Shane nodded, never having had to do that sort of thing, work at love.  She’d never been in love before.  She’d decided that with Cherry she’d been in lust and denial; because she’d known Cherry would never be committed to her.

She and Shane have something strong and confusion in their relationship ( I forgot how to write it ) could it be love?! with some thing else – I dont know!! But I can see Sam and Tina etheir!!! That works.Bette and Shane no way I’d rather see Shane with Lara. But you put Shane and Dana togheter in your previos post… So I have to expect anything … Hurgh!!Tim with a man ??
