    Sam & Tina wake up to find…. Oh and the gangs all here….

     

                “Sam thinks it’s ok?”  Lara asked seeing Jayden walk in with Dana.  Lara was taken back, it was Saturday and they didn’t have theory.  Lara said nothing and she saw them spotting them from across the Planet and they made their way over to them.

     

                “She encouraged it.  I know where my heart is.  It was just *****.”  Shane said, seeing the look on Bette‘s face. 

               

                “Your heart and who you sleep with should be in the same place.”  Bette said softly and Shane sat up and rolled her eyes, her voice deeper than usual.

     

                “At least I don’t do it behind my lover’s back.”  Shane stood and walked away, leaving Dana and Jayden to wonder what that was all about.

     

                “Don’t ask.”  Bette said her voice angry not with Shane but with herself.  She was judgmental and critical, and had always been.  Shane was right and they had a strong relationship to be able to do that and find their way back to one another, she envied Sam and Shane for just a moment.

     

                “What are you two doing here together?”  Lara asked, trying to sound off handed, but it failed.  She saw how Jayden sometimes looked at Dana.  Lust. 

     

                “We are going to play some tennis, baby step tennis.  Dana is going to serve and serve only right?”  Jayden asked her as if she were a child she’d coached to answer certain questions certain ways.

     

                “Yes mom.”  Dana said with a goofy grin that made them laugh.

     

                “We should get going.  I’ll see you at home?”  Jayden asked kissing Lara on the cheek and then they walked away.  Bette cocked an eyebrow.

     

                “How’s that going?”  Lara shrugged then smiled awkwardly. 

     

                “Not bad she’s on the ropes.  I’ve never converted a straight girl before.  I’m letting her make the moves a lot of kissing.”  Lara admitted and Bette laughed and patted her hand.

     

                “Take it slow, sometimes they need a bit of help, lead the way.”  Lara chuckled and said.

     

                “She’s a nurse, she knows how the anatomy works, it’s the heart stuff I’m worrying about.”

    1. Childish! Childish and irresponsible! Totally childish and irresponsible!Bette made a mistake, so everyone has an excuse to make their own mistakes? That’s ridiculous and illogical. Be-cheated should be made up by cheating? I think it’s Tina, rather than Bette has more to figure out.End of rant.

    2. This is fiction, right? Then why am I so blue. They’re just harmless words linked into phases, but why does my heart say it’s true? As it sobs, leaving pools of regret from angst and love cast to the wind. Because with hope and glee, I and we…have given our TiBette hearts to J Marie. Tina was faking that whole memory loss thing so she could take out her pain (under the radar) in the least constructive way possible. Real smart, Tina!! “…I love you…more than before, ha!! Now, for real, this was all a terrible, tasteless joke, right Sunshine.

    3. In a way I can’t really blame Tina…Wait yes I can damn it! What the fuck was she thinking? It really shouldn’t have been with Sam. I know Shane kinda understood, but still… I know Bette cheated on Tina too, but really…I would be pissed off too. Wait till she founds out who Tina was *schtuping* (yes still love the word), all hell will break loose then. And yes, I’m sure she will find out, one way or the other. Also, I’m right about my assumptions between Dana and Jayden. Not sure about Al and Lara yet. Awesome chapter again J!

    4. To cheat on someone you love,is a little different Than cheating for payback. Guessing that is what Tina did,will Bette be able to handle this,dont think so thanks bvh

    5. O.K. I’m not as upset as everyone else. Granted, being cheated on doesn’t justify cheating, but concerning Tina it was inevitable. Sam seems extremely regretful because its a friend from their group who she’ll be running into everyday. Loved Shane’s reaction.
