“I’m great, how did you two meet?”  Shane asked, taken back by Tina having a woman other than Bette in her bed.

“I work for VanGuard, my dad runs the company.  Owns it really.  I just got a page Tina, I have to go to the hospital, and Marty needs me for something or another.  Call me later?”  She asked, grabbing a slice of orange from Tina‘s plate and she nodded.

“How about I meet you somewhere?”  Tina offered, cocking an eyebrow, wondering if she was pushing her luck.

“My house, here is the address.”  Sam said, seeing a pen on the small entryway table and scribbling her address.

“Come by anytime, I’ll be home.”  With that, Sam walked from the apartment.

“She is so into you Tina.”  Shane said a laugh in her voice.

“It works both ways Shane, it works both ways.”

Dana stood at court side, shaking almost uncontrollably.  Dana‘d watched the first match, and was in awe at the amount of people in the stands.  This was the big time, she thought to herself, rubbing her hands together as she saw that the match was almost over.  She was next, little Miss Dana Fairbanks was about to step onto one of the most famous courts in the world.

She had called her parents before boarding the plane.  Her father and mother seemed to have been indifferent about it.  She was hurt, all this because she liked women.  Well ***** them, she thought to herself.  She’d worked her whole life for this; this was what she wanted more than anything else in life, success in the sports she loved with passion.

She was alone here, in a different country, just her couch Corey to accompany her.  Corey had to force feed her breakfast this morning.  She missed her friends and most of all Alice.  She knew that Alice couldn’t afford to have come with her.  Then her thoughts turned to Lara, and she smiled at the memory of the other night.

She checked her racket, testing the strings as she bounced up and down from the balls of her heels to the tips of her toes.

    1. God JM, your stories are always so hard to read…I cringe, and my heart aches throughout every chapter…yet, I can’t stop myself from reading. Hmmm must be because of the excellent writing! I thought you were posting this all in one go…so come on, hurry up and post the rest. I need to figure out how many B&T beginnings I am going to have to read in order to feel happy again!!!

    2. Hi J, loving it as always. ~whispering~I so agree with you Seahurst. J, is killing me and she promised me (I think) that this wasn’t gonna hurt. The only way that I can indulge in J’s fanfic is by resting in the fact that there is ample access to TiBette stories and old epidsodes to remind me that all is still well in TiBette land (at least for now, don’t remind me)~sigh.
