The Gathering 01.70 – Days of Future Past pt. 3
Shane sat up suddenly, her body drenched in sweat as she fought out of the vivid nightmare. Shane stumbled out of bed and she ran to the bathroom. She felt sick she grabbed both sides of the toilet and felt her dinner coming back for a visit. A cool hand at her neck, pulling back her hair and a soft kiss at the nape of her neck.
“Jezz Shane, is getting married today giving you the jitters? Its hours away for god sake.” Shane sat back against the shower stall and looked up at Sam with astonishment.
“You’re alive…” Sam looked at her and laughed, flushing the toilet and closing the cover, sitting on it. Sam didn’t understand what was wrong with Shane, but whatever it was it had really thrown her for a loop.
“Shane are you ok?” Sam touched her face caressing her cheek. What was Shane talking about? Alive? Had Shane lost her mind? “I hope I am alive we are getting hitched today. Remember that?” Shane took long deep breaths; the whole thing had been a dream, a long ***** killer dream.
“I dreamt that you were dead, when Fran hit the Planet you were…” Sam knelt next to her, and hugged her. Shane had, had a bad dream.
“Baby, you are shaking like a leaf come back to bed so we can get some sleep we have a long day tomorrow, or rather today. Come on my love.” Shane stood up, and then grabbed Sam into a hard hug.
“You’re real.” Sam nodded and took her hand and put her into bed, covering Shane up and climbing into bed with Shane.
“Gee, the prospect of marrying me sent you into a dream land where I died; I’m having second thoughts…” Sam said and Shane turned to her. Shane’s green eyes imploring her and pleading with her to stop the jokes.
“I am NOT living my life without you, got me woman?” Sam smiled nodding and saying.
“I’m in this to the hip baby; I’m not giving you up either now no more dreams Bobby Ewing.” Shane grimaced and asked.

storm watch? that’s the cont. of the gathering oui? with lil jesse? I’ve read EVERYthing you’ve posted man and now I’m on round two! I wand moreI can’t get enough! uhm and why am i not writing? ~Sighs~ that my dear compadre will require a scheduled im talking too with the dr. so grab julez and sit down the next time you see me on aye? comps still crazy but i will try to go on tonight.
the dream was a great way to tie both stories together. I am happy to read that Shane and Sam finally made it down the aisle.
Can I just say that it is an honor to be mentioned in the same breathe as Seahurst? She is so wonderfully talented. She is a true blue Tibetter. Thanks for making my dream come true J! J, I knew you were a Dallas fan~LOL! Aside from the parts that made be want to make Tina, Bette and you my sparring partners (For future reference, I’ve got a quick left), on some level, I actually felt the Redux was a bit more in tune with the characters. The original was drama central, there are so many things waiting to explode. Tina and Sam~gag~, when Bette finds out it was Sam…Now we are back here again…Tibetter alert~she’s gonna make it hurt. She keeps trying to comfort us with a sly smile, but the wicked grin is never far behind…Oh no, Sam’s ogling Tina on her wedding day! Oh, boy where are we going now?

Well, I’ll be damned!!!! J, girl, what can I say, amazing. It was a fucking dream!!! And I’m so happy about it. I was looking forward to this, the wedding I mean. Wish I was one of the guests. But I do wonder who that mysterious guest? What are you up to know Janet?

Man, you had me worried. Thanks for this chapter. So sweet… I’m not ready to kill you yet, but I am waiting for the other shoe to drop. I sense impending drama! Oh my!
A damn dream, should’ve known. Absolutely loved Shane’s reaction after her nightmarish ordeal. Hell I’d freak too. Their vows were beautiful. Alice’s gift was true to form. I do hope Tina has put her crush on Sam on the back burner. Who the HELL is the uninvited guest? Is it Shane’s mom? or Cherie? Inquiring minds wanna know?
Ha ha~ A horrible dream… I’ve actually needed to read the part of Sam/Shane’s wedding so badly but ReDux version was just great. Now I am waiting for a mysterious woman’s trouble.
