“Where do you wanna go?”  Kit asked; taking a bun from the basket and picking at it.  Marina winked at her and Kit smiled easily.

            “Hawaii?”  Offered Jenny, her eyes wide and they laughed.  The Iowa girl had big dreams.  Alice thought if she kept writing, she might get to bring them all to light.

            “I have to work, every day.  For like the next, 300 days.  This Earthling show is really taking a long time to wrap up.”  Shane grumbled, still on the outs at work for having not banged Miss Actress as she was calling Eden. 

            “Why don’t you ask Sam for the money to start up your own business?”  Asked Dana, she was heading for the French Open in two weeks she needed a few days to relax, but Hawaii was way to far off her charts to consider. 

            “No.”  Shane said, she was going to make it on her own, somehow.  Her arms crossed and steadfast in her decision.  She didn’t want any more of Sam‘s money, being with her was reward enough.

            “You are sick.  Woman has money to burn; let her indulge you.”  Alice grunted; looking at her watch. 

            “Lara, when did they say they were going to be here?”  Lara shook her head and sighed.  She was learning that Nurses and Doctors had their own schedules, it was called insanity.

            “5pm?  They get out of work around then, but you know those two.  They actually love to hang around there, and not get paid.”  Then she thought for a minute and they all laughed, since she was hanging around work, and not getting paid.

            “Late.  I hate late almost as much as I hate paper work, no I hate paper work even more.”  Alice said, with another grunt as Shane‘s phone rang.

            “Is the doctor in?”  Shane answered and Sam laughed,

            “I hate caller ID.”  Came Sam‘s snappy come back.

            “Where are you?”  Shane asked, looking around to see if she saw Sam‘s car.  She’d do that at times, call and then sneak up on her from behind.
