Shane breathlessly dashed out of Atmosphere, her feet slamming hard on the pavement.  She looked left and right and a voice at her left said.  She’d done it again, hadn’t see.  She dug the keys from her pocket and started walking to the car.  She hoped Sam when home, so she could find and tell her.

Tell her what?  That she’d kissed some other chick?  Then Shane grimaced.  To tell her that she loved her; and she loved that she had the freedom to choose to play with someone else if she wanted too.  Her choice was Sam.  No one else could seem to compete at least not now, perhaps not ever.

“Did you get it out of your system?”  It was Sam; she was sitting on the tall brick wall to her left.  Her feet swinging left and right like a child.

“I..  Well…”  Sam laughed, jumping down elegantly, and walking to Shane.  Sam looked her up and down, checking her out for some reason.  She fixed Shane‘s belt for her and Shane just stared at her.  She couldn’t say a word, her mouth moved but no sound came from her.

“Just breathe.”  Sam said, looking into Shane‘s stormy eyes,

“I love you.”  Shane said out of the blue, and Sam just grinned.  She took Shane‘s hand and started to walk towards where Shane had parked the car.

“How about you drive me home Romeo?”  Sam took Shane‘s hand and they walked to the car, heading to where they belonged, together.

Jayden was playing tennis with Lara, and she sucked.  The chef was not a tennis playing sort of woman.  All the grace that Lara had in the kitchen just didn’t translate onto the playing field.  She kept laughing at Lara, who tried her darnest to hit the ball, but kept missing.  Or she’d pop it up in the air and it would land on her side of the net, making Jayden laugh that much harder.  Lara would almost lose her temper; then reel her emotions back in.

“You’re not holding the racket right.”  Jayden said for the 10th time, walking over to the net and attempting to show her again, what she was doing wrong.

    1. WTF! Why’d Sam & Jayden get there so damn early? The second time around was great but if Sam dies, then it really sucked (no offense to your storytelling J – thats excellent).

    2. J, I’ve had a shitty day to begin with and now you give me this??!!! You cannot let Sam die, please don’t do this to me, or to Shane!!!! I’ve never begged before, but I’m doing so now!!!
