Shane scoffed, angry at Alice for even being anywhere near that slime of a woman, she went to the kitchen and grabbed a beer from the fridge.  She had no mercy for Alice when it came to Gabby. 

            Sam sat between Jayden and Lara, watching as Alice continued to pace back and forth.  They watched her go left, their heads following her, then right again, still watching her every move, they looked like three people watching a tennis match. 

            “How long has she been this way?”  Sam asked in a stage whisper to Lara, and she whispered back, in the same tone.

            “About three hours, it was worse the first hour, a lot more babble, at least now she is forming her sentences.”  Sam nodded seeing Shane downing the beer. 

            Shane was just hot under the collar about this; it just didn’t seem like her Shane to not at least let someone explain.  There must have been some sort of history between Gabby and Alice for Shane to have reacted like that. 

            “My beloved, come over here would you please?”  Shane put the beer down and went to Sam, and she scooted over towards Lara, and Shane sat down between Jayden and Sam.  Sam put her arm around Shane, she felt how tense she was, and Sam kissed her cheek.

            “I’m convinced she’s evil, she is a child of darkness, brought forth to torture me during my time of need!”  Alice continued and Jayden nudged Shane, a small smile graced Jayden’s lips.  Her arm extending across the top of the couch; and Lara find her hand, their fingers intertwining as they listened.

            “Give us the low down on Gabby if you please?  We are all new comers to this little situation?”  Shane sighed and started to explain unwillingly.

            “She’s this ***** that Alice has an earthly attraction too.  Gabby treats her like ***** and Al takes it, in more ways that one.”  Alice didn’t hear Shane, she was still pacing.  Her face a mask of confusion about her actions.

            “Oh what am I going to tell Dana!?!  Oh god Dane, what did I do?  You leave and I can’t keep my lips to myself.”  Shane stood up; and grabbed Alice by the elbow, tired of this self absorption.
